Hi Gems community my name is Ovey Charles @ovipraise. I will be singing a song of Mr Yels titled “Addu'a”

Addu'a is an Hausa ward which means prayer. This song is as reminder and admonishment to all that you can only be victorious through prayer. In what ever challenge you are passing through, your victory is only sure through prayer. The story of Paul and Silas in the Bible tells us that they overcome the their enemy while in prison through prayer. Through prayer we find direction, we find peace and solution to our problems. It strengthens us and develop a relationship with our maker the father of all creation. Prayer brings God close to you, a man who live a life of prayer draws God closer to him or her. Prayer is a spiritual weapon against the evils arrows. When we pray God fight on our behalf. It is a cover over our life, families, work, businesses and all that surrounds us. The story of Jehoshaphat a king fin the Bible (2 Chronicles 20:1-30), a combined armies of the Ammonites, Moabites, and Mount Seir’s misson came up against Judah. Jehoshaphat told his people and create a time of prayer and fasting to God for his nation.

He made prayerfully interceded for the people of Israel, and acknowledge that weakness against the vast army coming to attack them. He was encourage by God not be afraid or discourage For the battle is not his but God’s” in the end God gave the victory.
