Hive Music Festival Week 145 Round 1 - On God (Bass Cover) ESP/ENG

Hello everyone, I welcome you all to my blog, this is my entry for the Hive Music Festival week 145 round 1.

For this week's entry, I will be sharing a Bass cover of "ON GOD" by Shatta Wale a popular Ghanaian singer. I came to know about this song through a video on Facebook, how some people where standing for justice for someone that was arrested recently for reasons that weren't clear to the public. The person arrested is an activist and a freedom fighter. He speaks against the ills of the government and society, he stands against corruption and so, it's very clear that the government might want to short him up in every means possible hence the unethical arrest.

The way he was arrested was way different from how law enforcers usually arrest culprits in a civil manner. On this guys case, he was whisked and masked as if he was a notorious thief that had been declared wanted for ages.

God so kind he got released.

We might not have any body at the top to stand for us but God is alive. There are a lot of people that wants to short us up but our God will always turn up for us at appointed time. There are a lot of people out there that don't want to see us progress, they're hell-bent that to the pit we must fall but "ON GOD" we stand and will never surrender to failure.

I've listened to this song several times and the rhythm holds me tight together with the nature Shatta Wale voiced the song. Shatta the author of the song obviously is bold and courageous despite the challenges that befalls him. Well,
without further ado, I'll leave y'all to enjoy my piece and I hope you it makes sense to you.

Kudos to everyone working behind the scene to push good music forward on our beloved Blockchain.
Shout out to the big friends of the community @edwardstobia @yisusth @fmbs25 & @dimeilaz they're all doing an amazing job here..
Thank you

Gracias.

*ON GOD - SHATTA WALE

...

10 million lashes but ano cry
10 years burial but ano die
Take what’s rightfully mine
Take what’s rightfully mine but that aside
You no know me you for google
I say this head bigger than your duku
Stubborn academy we like to shoot
One bullet I say chale ego make you pupu
On a bicycle so take your trailer
And I be famous like Marley and the wailers
I no dey kiss ass fvck all your favors
Nobody bigger than God Jehovah

{Chorus}

You no go fe show me nothing
Bring horse ago bring my tortoise
On God me I promise you go be the yawa of the day
If you don’t know you for ask stop rushing
This teeth you dey see need brushing
On God me I promise you go be the yawa of the day

{Verse 2}

20 million years you no fe stop me
I am the news and I will make you keep talking
How many years you want dey block me?
