Welcome to my blog. I'll will be sharing with you all a cover of Corry Sudbury "Reckless Love" for week 153 round 3 of Hive music festival event.
Reckless love is a song that has touched and blessed lives. It's a song that describes the love of God for humanity, I remember publishing the song sometime last year or last two years in one of the communities, I can't remember but the song came in my mind recently when I was thinking of what song to present for my entry in the community. I tried to make this more unique as I capture some essential part of the song on the piano, the intro of the song. The intro of the song is one of the part of the song that got me attracted to the song as well.
So aside from a song been spiritual, it flows more better when sang properly and skillfully. Talking about Reckless love of God, it is no doubt that God loved us despite our inconsistencies. It is reckless to love someone that doesn't match your criterias or qualification, it is more reckless when the same person hurts you several times but you still wouldn't let them go anyway. This is the exact point where God has placed us. By merit we don't fit into the criteria to be completely loved by Him but because mercy prevailed We're all standing here.
It is reckless to love someone right from theirs mother's womb. It's just like saying "yoh, if this pregnant mother gives birth to a beautiful girl I'm going to marry her for my son" this might not be a perfect example, but it's reckless to assume that the baby coming, she's gonna morally fit into your son's desires and will fit in as a perfect wife for him. How about the incoming baby, hope she will not grow up to find your son unattractive for her to spend the rest of her life with him. This is the same scenario between us and God. Right from our mother's womb with our unpredictable characters he staked his love completely over us, this is nothing but the mercies of God, not by privilege but by mercy.

Reckless Love es una canción que ha tocado y bendecido vidas. Describe el amor de Dios por la humanidad. Recuerdo haberla publicado el año pasado o hace dos años en una de las comunidades. No lo recuerdo, pero me vino a la mente hace poco cuando pensaba qué canción presentar para mi participación en la comunidad. Intenté hacerla más única, capturando una parte esencial de la canción al piano: la intro. Esta es una de las partes que también me atrajo.
Además de ser una canción espiritual, fluye mejor cuando se canta con destreza y habilidad. Hablando del amor temerario de Dios, sin duda Dios nos amó a pesar de nuestras inconsistencias. Es imprudente amar a alguien que no cumple con tus criterios o cualidades. Es aún más imprudente cuando la misma persona te lastima varias veces, pero aun así no la dejas ir. Este es precisamente el punto donde Dios nos ha puesto. Por méritos propios no encajamos en los criterios para ser completamente amados por Él, pero porque su misericordia prevaleció, todos estamos aquí.
Es imprudente amar a alguien desde el vientre materno. Es como decir: "Si esta madre embarazada da a luz a una hermosa niña, me casaré con ella para mi hijo". Puede que este no sea el ejemplo perfecto, pero es imprudente asumir que el bebé que viene encajará moralmente en los deseos de tu hijo y será la esposa perfecta para él. ¿Y qué hay del bebé que viene? Ojalá que al crecer no lo encuentre poco atractivo para pasar el resto de su vida con él. Este es el mismo escenario entre nosotros y Dios. Desde el vientre de nuestra madre, con nuestras personalidades impredecibles, depositó su amor por completo en nosotros. Esto no es más que la misericordia de Dios, no por privilegio, sino por misericordia.
