AFRI-TUNES WEEK 176 - TOBECHUKWU (COVER)

This is my entry for what is week 176 of the Afritunes weekly event. This week I will be sharing with us a Bass Cover of "TOBECHUKWU" by Pst. Nathaniel Bassey featuring Minister Mercy Chinwoh.

TOBECHUKWU is phrase from the Igbo dialect in the eastern part of Nigeria. TOBECHUKWU simply means "Praise God". This is a song of praise to God for all the things He has done for us, the ones we can see and the ones He has been working behind the scenes that we couldn't see. It is essential to always give thanks regardless of our predicaments because God has been faithful in one way or the other in our lives.

Just because we can't see the one He is doing doesn't mean He isn't doing anyone. I've learned to show appreciation even when things aren't working as I want to be, I complain I murmur but I still trust and appreciate Him for the little ones I can see while I pray and hope for the greater ones..

I love the settings of this song and the idea of the live recording with Mercy Chinwoh. I know a couple of persons that this songs holds a place dear to their heart, I've watched it on their statuses for a couple of times repeatedly and I can share in their joy when God is aligning even the impossible to work in your favour..
