Hive Openmic Week #198_Matar Lot//Lot's Wife"by @Ovey10 (Cover)

Good day friends and family of Hive and welcome to my entry for Hive Openmic Week 198.

The theme for the week is "REBELLION" and This theme is chosen by our recent Spotlight artist @rasecdus Sending my warm greetings to him..🙏🙏

To rebel simply means to disobey or disagree to laid down rules or principles set specially by people that are in authority. There can be different reasons why people will rebel against such laws, it's either the authority aren't considerate about the wellbeing of the people and the only way they can show disagreement is by rebelling against the government or authority while sometimes people rebel because of lack of discipline and stubbornness without a genuine reason.

The result of Rebellion is always not a good one because most times it causes a lot of negative repercussions thereby leading to war or chaos. A very good example of rebellious people were the people of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible, they rebel against God and God decided to destroy the city sparing Lot, Abraham's nephew and his family.

God gave Lot rules that nobody should turn and look at the city when He starts destroying it but Lot's Wife broke the law, on their way out of the city she turned around and look at the city and instantly turned to a pillar of salt. That was a huge rebel against God and it incurred punishment, that's a big message to us all, we should trust and obey God anytime anywhere!

This is the whole story and idea behind my choice of song and my entry generally. Our mothers here in Nigeria usually sing the song in Hausa dialect, one among the numerous tribes in Nigeria but I tried to translate the song and sang it in English for my Hive Openmic friends, I hope you all find some meaning from my entry, enjoyyy!😃

El tema de la semana es "REBELIÓN" y este tema lo elige nuestro reciente artista destacado @rasecdus. Le envío mis más cordiales saludos...🙏🙏

Rebelarse simplemente significa desobedecer o estar en desacuerdo con reglas o principios establecidos especialmente por personas que tienen autoridad. Puede haber diferentes razones por las que la gente se rebela contra tales leyes, o bien la autoridad no es considerada con el bienestar de la gente y la única forma en que pueden mostrar su desacuerdo es rebelándose contra el gobierno o la autoridad, mientras que a veces la gente se rebela por falta. de disciplina y terquedad sin una razón genuina.

El resultado de la Rebelión no siempre es bueno porque la mayoría de las veces causa muchas repercusiones negativas, lo que lleva a la guerra o al caos. Un muy buen ejemplo de pueblo rebelde fue el pueblo de Sodoma y Gomorra en la Biblia, se rebelaron contra Dios y Dios decidió destruir la ciudad perdonando a Lot, el sobrino de Abraham y su familia.

Dios le dio a Lot reglas de que nadie debería voltear y mirar la ciudad cuando Él comience a destruirla, pero la esposa de Lot violó la ley, al salir de la ciudad se dio la vuelta y miró la ciudad e instantáneamente se convirtió en una columna de sal. Ese fue un gran rebelde contra Dios e incurrió en castigo, ese es un gran mensaje para todos nosotros, ¡debemos confiar y obedecer a Dios en cualquier momento y lugar!

Esta es toda la historia y la idea detrás de mi elección de canción y mi entrada en general. Nuestras madres aquí en Nigeria suelen cantar la canción en dialecto hausa, una de las numerosas tribus de Nigeria, pero intenté traducir la canción y la canté en inglés para mis amigos de Hive Openmic. Espero que todos encuentren algún significado en mi entrada, disfruten. !😃
