I present to you the collection of my musical instruments
A big greeting to the entire community Hive Collectors yesterday my wife @deisip67 told me about this community and about the new initiative which invites us to show a collection of musical instruments, I confess that when I found out about this initiative, I immediately began to take down from the walls various instruments that I had forgotten for a long time, mainly my concert mandolin which I bought 40 years ago and I haven't played it for a long time. 6 years due to an injury to my fingers.
I present to you the collection of my musical instruments
Yes friends, today I want to take this opportunity to present my musical instruments, which I have kept for many years and each one of them is part of my story as a musician:
I bought this "Four" 28 years ago:
This "four" has an interesting story, I tell you that one day, 28 years ago, I was walking down a street in my town and I saw a peddler who was selling folkloric handicraft items, such as: hammocks, sandals, straps, but what What caught my attention was the "CUATRO" that the seller was playing with great enthusiasm. The truth is, that cuatro sounded very good even though it looked very simple, so I asked the seller the price and he practically gave it to me because The price was too low or cheap, so without thinking twice I bought it and since that day it has been my faithful companion with my family, my wife takes great care of it because with this four I have sung many songs to it.
The "Maracas" that my brother-in-law gave me 21 years ago
These maracas are very loud, I tell you that a friend invited me to a rehearsal with his musical group, and I took these maracas, well friends, that day the man who played the maracas never tired of begging me to sell him these maracas, because He said that the sound was very clear and strong, but I tell you something, I do not sell my musical instruments and even less so when they have been a gift.
I made these "Maracas" 3 years ago
Yes friends, I made these brands myself with some taparas that I got on my farm, I confess that it is the first time that I make maracas, I made them to accompany the songs with merengue rhythms; The filling of these maracas is made from seeds of the plant known in Venezuela as: "CAPACHO".
My beautiful 40 year old mandolin
Well friends, this mandolin has been with me since I was part of the University music group, I bought it 40 years ago, I remember that the day I went to buy it the store salesperson told me that this was the last mandolin left, Of the three that had arrived in the country, I confess that when I saw this mandolin in the display case I was captivated by its beautiful design and that it has incredible acoustics and echo.
With this mandolin I have played in several musical groups, it has accompanied me in many serenades, family gatherings and friends. There I have several instrumental songs in mandolin sound that I hope to be able to share with you, of course, starting today and thanks to this beautiful initiative from my friend @mipiano I will start giving my mandolin some caresses because I want to hold it in my arms again , at least I have already removed the dust, I will put its strings on it so that it sounds like before.
Well friends, I have abandoned this mandolin for 6 years, due to an injury to two fingers on my hand, which prevents me from stretching my fingers, apart from the fact that its strings are already expired, but soon I will put a set of strings on it. new to touch it again as before, because in March I have an appointment with the hand surgeon to set the date to operate on the tendons that have contracted. (Dupuytren's Disease), I have FAITH in God that the operation on my hand will go well and I will do the therapies with my mandolin.
Well friends, I hope you liked the collection of my instruments and my mandolin, which I hope to execute very soon, and I tell you something, the secret to preserving musical instruments well is to take care of them, because they are very fragile, but the Greater care is in: "Do not lend them" and if you lend them, you have to be very close to them, because no one takes care of someone else's, greetings, God bless you.
Good collection of local musical instruments, which he preserves with affection and care. May it continue to be so. Greetings, @oscarcede.

You are welcome ☀️
Hi @oscarcede, how good to read you in the community and join the proposed initiative of the month. Those musical instruments are beautiful. The first maracas are very interesting, although I had never seen them with such a long handle. That mandolin is a work of art. Thank you for bringing us this post. Greetings
