Como ya algunos quizá leyeron en mi primera publicación en Hive, soy Violinista Venezolano.
Los venezolanos nos caracterizamos por estar muy orgullosos de nuestros paisajes, el calor de nuestra gente, la diversidad de nuestro país, pero también por nuestra música.
Justamente ayer 4 de Abril fué el día Nacional del Cuatro Venezolano. Cómo dato curioso, la razón de esa fecha es porque es el día cuatro del mes cuatro.
Nuestro cuatro venezolano es un instrumento de cuerda, familia de las guitarras españolas. Se llama cuatro porque posee 4 cuatro cuerdas y es un instrumento que se toca en casi todos los géneros venezolanos, sobre todo en el Joropo. Cabe recalcar, que es diferente al cuatro puertorriqueño.
Hoy les comparto con muchísimo orgullo y cariño, un video que hice recientemente. Aquí podrán apreciar el Cuatro como acompañante armónico del Violín, bellamente ejecutado por mi amigo Salvador Hernández que además es también parte de la comunidad de Hive.
Aquí estamos tocando una canción emblemática en nuestra cultura, dónde resalta lo bello de nuestra tierra y nuestra gente. Esta canción es un himno más para nosotros, que además se llama Venezuela. Es una canción popular con letra de los españoles Pablo Herrero Ibarz y José Luis Armenteros Sánchez. .

We Venezuelans are known for being very proud of our landscapes, the warmth of our people, the diversity of our country, but also for our music.
Just yesterday April 4th was the National Day of the Venezuelan Cuatro. As a curious fact, the reason for that date is because it is the fourth day of the fourth month.
Our Venezuelan cuatro is a string instrument, family of Spanish guitars. It is called Four in englesh because it has 4 four strings, It is an instrument that is played in almost all Venezuelan genres, especially in the Joropo. You have to know that it is different from the Puerto Rican Cuatro.
Today I share with you, a video that I recently made. Here you will be able to appreciate the Cuatro as a harmonic accompaniment of the Violin, beautifully played by my friend Salvador Hernández who is also part of the Hive community.
Here we are playing an emblematic song in our culture, where the beauty of our land and our people stands out. This song is one more anthem for us, which is also called Venezuela. It is a popular song with lyrics by the Spanish Pablo Herrero Ibarz and José Luis Armenteros Sánchez. .
