Music Fun While Raining.

I was supposed to go to work today but I had a feeling that it will rain so I chose to stay back at home. This doesn’t mean I’m lazy but there are days when I just want to take a break so that by the time I go to work on the next day, my energy will be fully charged and will be at high rate.
Also, it’s been raining for days here in Lagos and my body is feeling so relaxed so today felt like the perfect time to exercise that rest by staying at home.

I checked my window and the weather was so sunny that it can boil an egg. The sun was so hot so I used that as an opportunity to do laundry. I washed all my clothes including the duvet, washed all the home appliances and the thick dresses that I have. Today felt like the perfect day for my clothes to get dry.
I was having a short nap when I heard the wave of the breeze.
I ran outside to pack my clothes and other things I washed.

When I got inside the house, I sorted all I wanted to and the rain started falling. While watching some videos on Instagram, there’s a song played on an advertisement by Adele titled Set Fire to Rain. That advertisement motivated me to play the song. I was so much in the mood that I had to run to my room to carry my speaker. I opened my Audiomack application to play the song. It took time for the song to play and I guess that was because of the poor internet connection and finally, the song came up.

I listened to this song for over three times. I was just jumping in my house and was screaming at the peakbof my voice. Luckily, there was no neighbor to disturb or confront me that I’m making noise because the rain was so heavy. The sound of the rain on our pans felt like a group of people beating a drum on my roof.

It will be boring to listen to only this song over and over again so I searched for songs I can listen to while it’s raining and I found the next one.

Bruno Mars ~ It Will Rain

It was my first time listening to the song and I even had to watch the video. This took us back to the time when Bruno Mars was still very young and fresh in the music industry. It feels good to see the old Bruno and I started to jump on the song again.

I tried to search more songs for the rainy season but I didn’t like them all but I went back to these two songs, listened to them and had a nice time listenin to them all.

The rain motivated me to listen to these two songs and I’m glad I discovered the Bruno Mars’s song.
