Hive OpenMic Week 288 //Withholding Nothing// cover by @oluthomas
Hey friend's of hive, welcome to my page. I remain my humble self l, your one and only friend and brother @oluthomas .
Like play we are in getting closer to December and we are in week 288 already. Is something to glorify God. We've been given a topic for the week "Gospel" and we are to sing in connection to this topic. For that i did a rendition of "Withholding Nothing" by William MC Dowell.
What triggers me to sing this song is our topic and I remember what happened in the word of God between Jesus and His disciples. The gospel from the mouth of mark. Jesus instructing then saying "Go ye into the world and preach the gospel" and he told them for you to preach this gospel one needs to forsook his brothers, sisters, family, anything that is value to you and follow Jesus Christ. We notice from the scenarios Peter almost forgot that he was supposed to lead the disciples in taking forth the gospel but he almost go back to his normal business but Jesus came to Him and asked him if he loved him then he should take care of his sheeps.
So in following Jesus Christ one needs to surrender all to Him, without holding back anything. Many followed Him and are allowed themselves to be distracted by the things of the world. But this songs speaks volume to us giving our whole to God.
This is a call for us to give ourselves in totality to God withholding nothing. By doing that God will whole fully use us for his glory and we all have limited time In this world so we should the work of the father now that's still day before night will come that we cannot work again. May the good Lord give us the grace to surrender in totality to him.
Thank you so much for taking your time to go through my entry and I believed you really enjoy it and learn something new. Stay tone family for more of my entry.
