When I first heard this song *Intimacy* by Dare Strings ft Caleb David , there was a particular line that got me thinking deeply. The line says, *“Let me have intercourse with You.”* At first, it sounded like someone telling the Lord they wanted to have intercourse with Him. But thank God I thought positively. I later realized it wasn’t referring to the physical intercourse that happens between a man and a woman, but rather a *God kind of intercourse*a divine connection between two beings that gives them the ability to know each other intimately and deliberately understand one another’s mind.

Having fellowship with God opens one up to the realm of His possibilities and the reality locked up in Him. If you truly want to know this God not just the religious version many people follow blindly you must seek Him personally. Many only follow what their pastors or men of God say, but God wants everyone to reach a reality where they can approach Him boldly and understand His heart at every point in time.

Sometimes I ask myself this question: *“What about people who are not Christians? Which God are they serving?”* And *“What makes me believe that the God of the Bible is the true and living God?”*

Whenever such thoughts come, I remind myself that there is indeed a Supreme Being a divine presence that controls the earth and the universe. I believe in the God of the Bible because His Word continually manifests in ways that are beyond human explanation. The Scriptures were written centuries ago, yet their prophecies keep coming to pass in our generation as if they were written just yesterday. That alone strengthens my faith.

What deepened my belief even more was my hunger for God. I told Him, *“Lord, I want to know You more. Reveal Yourself to me.”* I didn’t want my knowledge of God to be secondhand something I only heard from people. And truly, there is nothing you ask the Lord sincerely that He will deny you.

I’m so excited about how God has revealed even a little of Himself to me. I can boldly testify that He is God there is no other! He is a God who saves, and I have seen Him save not only the people of old but also myself countless times.

One particular incident happened earlier this year. There was a massive explosion people died, cars and properties were destroyed. I had left that area barely 20 minutes before it happened. When I got the call about what took place, I was speechless. God is indeed good, and His mercy endures forever!
