AFRITUNES WEEK 177 REGGAE COVER OF HOLY HOLY HOLY BY @OLUTHOMAS

Before I begin, days back, I had been asking myself some silly questions or should I say rhetorical questions more like questions that don't really have answers. I asked myself if God makes mistakes, and if He truly answers prayers. One of the questions I kept asking was: why is it that good people seem to die more often than bad people?

After asking myself all these questions, I realized that God does not make mistakes, but we humans do. Though there are questions that, humanly speaking, no one can truly answer once faced with them, I’ve learned to depend on the Holy Spirit for clarity. I sang this because of how I’ve seen the goodness of God. I look at how He created the whole universe and everything in it. I tried to understand what holds the sky in place but I had no understanding. I tried to understand how the oceans and dry land maintain their boundaries and I said to myself, “This alone is another dimension of God’s power.” His glory is all about holding everything in its proper place without going against humanity.

For Week 177, I sang a cover of a song by Pastor Chris Delvan titled “Holy Holy Holy.” The original version of the song wasn't in a reggae pattern, but I decided to try it in a reggae style, and it actually came out well.

This song talks solely about the holiness of God. He is so sacred that He does not need a man to become God, and He is not a respecter of anyone. He is God all by Himself. I asked myself, "If my body is full of His glory, then why am I still going through the things I’m facing in life?" But I’ve come to understand that life is designed to have ups and downs not necessarily because we are doing something wrong. Sometimes, when we are unable to meet our expectations, it leads to frustration, and we begin to question if God is truly faithful. I want to assure us that no matter what we are going through right now, it can never be compared to the glory and the blessings God has prepared for us. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and it has not entered into the heart of any man what God has in store for us. I urge us all to remain in the faith and keep believing in God. Every other thing will be added unto you.

Thanks for taking your time to go through my post. Remain blessed, friends.
