Hive Music Festival Week 163 Round 1 //You've Been Faithful Lord// piano cover by @oluthomas

Welcome to my blog, friends of Hive. My name is @oluthomas, and I am truly grateful to be among the living, especially those of us in the northern part of Nigeria. We thank God for His continuous protection and guidance if not for Him, some of us would have been stories by now.

For this Week 163, Round 1 of the Hive Music Festival Weekly Contest, I made a piano cover of “You’ve Been Faithful Lord from the Ages Past” by Magdalene Whohwa.

I love this song deeply because it has been a strong source of encouragement to me. Many people sometimes doubt the move of God and His wondrous works, mostly because the things they pray for don’t manifest at the time they expect. We often forget the simple but major things God remains faithful in dispensing free oxygen, good health, daily protection, and unseen dangers He saves us from.

Someone once told me he doesn't believe God is faithful because of what he is going through, and because something he prayed for has not yet manifested. But to truly recognize God’s faithfulness, you must acknowledge Him in both good and bad times not only when everything is perfect.

For me, I always see His faithfulness, whether things go well or not. I appreciate the things many people consider minor, because to me they are major testimonies and clear proofs of God’s goodness.

I played this piano cover and wanted to publish it yesterday night, but I was caught up with other activities.

Thankfully, I finally posted it. I hope and believe you will enjoy my entry.
