Greetings, Hive family and Open Mic community. It is an honor to be among the living and to be a part of this week's submission. My name is @oluthomas.
Special thanks go out to our featured artist, @fab-tay, for choosing the wonderful theme of "Peace," as well as to our Moderators for their collaborative efforts in keeping the community up and running every week.
I'm going to sing a lovely song by Jobie Yohanna that combines Hausa and English. I invite @presh001 to join me in song.

You may encounter difficulties and circumstances in today's world. We must not allow them to subjugate or rule over us. Similar to how Jesus Christ and the disciples are in the boat during a strong wind and the boat is about to capsize, all of the disciples are restless, no longer at peace, and at the end of themselves. They recall that despite everything going on, a person is sleeping soundly in the boat. At that point, they realize there is something Jesus is aware of that they are not. Jesus is not scared of the wind. The disciples are unaware of that reality, but Jesus told the wind to stop, restoring tranquility to all of the followers while he slept peacefully in the boat.

Anybody in Christ has this peace that surpasses human comprehension, but as soon as you walk away from Christ, even little challenges will rob you of your peace.
