Hello friends of Hive,
Welcome to my blog. My name is @oluthomas, and it’s truly a privilege to be alive and to participate in this week’s prompt. If I say that being alive today is by my strength or power, I would be lying, because honestly, it’s only by the mercy of God that I am still here.

Before I continue, I’d love to share a testimony. Yesterday, around 4 p.m. here in Nigeria, I planned to visit our church keyboardist. I was about to board a tricycle when a gentle voice within me said, “Don’t enter.” I obeyed and stepped back. Just a few moments later, something happened a police vehicle came speeding from nowhere, and the tricycle driver, in an attempt to dodge it, collided with the car in front of him. The exact spot he hit was where I was supposed to sit. I was speechless. But today, I’m here safe and sound. What the enemy meant for evil, God turned around for my good.

For this week’s entry, I sang a song that’s quite popular here in Nigeria. The song speaks about who God is His might, His grace, and His faithfulness. It’s a song of thanksgiving, a reminder that God is not a man; He keeps His word and never lets it return void. He’s the God of possibilities, the one who lifts a man, and no one can bring him down.
Sometimes I wonder what I’ve done to deserve this kind of love and mercy from God. Truly, it’s not by power nor by might, but by His grace that I’m alive today.
And I believe this is also a word of prophecy because what God is about to do in the church, especially for those who love Him, will be massive. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for His people.
