Greetings beloved friends of Hive, my name is @oluthomas and for this week of Hive Music Festival Week 151 Round 1, I was trying to get the song I will sing for this week's entry and this very song came to me. I wanted to sing a different song altogether, but this very song kept coming. “ADONAI” is one of those songs that puts you in the atmosphere to worship God, and I noticed I love the song so much, but the lyrics of the song are kind of difficult for me to grab. The moment I play the song, I can sing along with the artist, but the moment I stop the song, that’s the end—I can’t flow well again.

This song was sung by Elijah Oyelade, one of Nigeria's deep and fire-filled gospel singers and worshipers. I really enjoy his kind of songs and his calm and thick voice.

While I was practicing how to play and sing the song, I was having difficulties with the key. I tried to remain balanced, but the key was something else. Still, I tried to come up with something remarkable, soothing, and pleasant to the ears.

This is a song describing the supremacy of God and how powerful He is. God is incomparable and indescribable the God of wonders. He is El-Shaddai, who can never ever die. Sometimes, if you take your time to think of the deity of God, you’ll start asking questions that have no meaning and no answers. There are times I asked myself: Who created God? But I know there is a being called God, who is in control of both the living and the dead. While I asked the question, there was no one on earth that could give me a good answer to match up with my question. But notwithstanding, these are questions I no longer ask, because I began to grow in the knowledge of Christ.
