Hive Music Festival Week 160 Round 1 "The Glory Song" cover by @oluthomas
*Hello friends of Hive, welcome to my page!*I remain my able self, @oluthomas.
For this week’s entry, I did a cover of *“The Glory Song”* by Minister Dunsin Oyekan. I was actually wondering what to present for this week, and at first, I thought I had already done this same song before but that time, I used the acoustic guitar. It was lively and awesome. For this week, however, I decided to use the keyboard.
One thing I really love about this song is its chord movement. You don’t have to crack your brain before getting the flow because it’s built on just three to four major chords, and that’s what brings out the beauty of the song. There’s a part where either the (2 - Re) or (4 - Fah) chord fits perfectly any of them can work but I personally prefer using *Re* more than *Fah*.
The song carries a sweet melody and has a way of communicating with a person’s spirit. Singing gospel songs is not about us, but about our Creator, God. We sing to glorify and adore His name. This particular song is all about giving glory to God and declaring His name in the highest.
Recently, I had a discussion with some friends about God. We argued for a while, but eventually, we all came to the same conclusion that there is indeed a divine being called God who controls the universe. And to truly know Him, you must come through His Son, Jesus Christ, because He is the way to the Father.
I know there are people who believe there is no God. I once heard a lady on TikTok saying such, and she had many followers. She was explaining with so much confidence that there’s no God and that we are gods ourselves. People like that are deceived by knowledge that lacks understanding. But I didn’t bother arguing because everything written in the Bible is being fulfilled, nothing was left out.
The Bible says knowledge will increase and the love of many will grow cold. This shows that the coming of Jesus Christ is nearer than we think. Truly, only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.”
I hope you take a moment to reflect deeply, and I pray the Holy Spirit leads us all to the right path.
Thank you for taking the time to go through my post.
