Week 226 of Hive Open Mic I'm @oluthomas, and I'll be performing a cover of the song {Prayer is the Key} In my church when I was a child, we used to sing this song really well. I looked everywhere on the internet, but I couldn't find the songwriter. "My Prayer" is the theme for this week entry.
Prior to moving forward, allow me to provide a brief definition of what prayer is. Prayer means communicating to our God, that was the definition I learnt while I was in Sunday School. Through prayer, we can communicate with God. You can ask Him whatever you want through prayer and you can also have fellowship with Him through prayers..
As Christians, we should never stop praying. The prayer is explained in detail in the song I sang. While Jesus and God are equals, we find Him praying to God in the Bible. Thus, we pray in both good and terrible circumstances; Not only do we pray in trying times. Prayers transform our situation, they deliver, they direct, and they draw us closer to God. Numerous things are only possible through prayer. A man of God once stated that they could accomplish more if more prayers were offered. Its a call for us to pray and not to faint.
