Hey friends of Hive, welcome to my blog. My name is @oluthomas, and I am super excited to be alive today. I really want to give God thanks for His sufficient grace and mercy. Sometimes my life feels like it has no meaning, but God always gives me hope even when I feel hopeless.
For this week’s entry, I sang a cover of a song by Esther Orji, a gospel minister at COZA. This is her original song. I honestly don’t know how to fully explain how I felt when I first listened to her minister this song, but I knew something was happening inside me. It was as if I was receiving something and entering deeper realms of glory. I said to myself, “I must present this song.” I later found myself singing it daily, and each time I opened my mouth to sing, I entered dimensions that my lips can’t fully explain.
Anywhere the name of God is being glorified, that is where I want to be. And anything that gives God glory, that is what I want to do. This song is so powerful that I keep looking for a better way to express how it touches my spirit. When a man walks in this dimension, there is nothing the devil can do he may try, but he will always fail. Because when you choose a path in God, nothing on earth can bend you. It’s like saying, “I have decided to follow this path good or bad, I will not turn back.” That’s the message this song carries.
To give God glory is to be at rest and to obey His inner voice in you. If all you want is to give Him glory, if everything you do on earth is to return all the glory to God, then you are truly walking the path of righteousness. And that is the life of God at work for us.
