HIVE OPENMIC WEEK 219 A SONG OF PRAISE IN EGGON (EYESU ME BA LU" BY @OLUTHOMAS

To all members of the Hive Open Mic Community and Hive, greetings. I wish everyone here well and celebrate you all. It gives me great pleasure to take part in week 219 of the Hive Open Mic Community. I’m @oluthomas.

I'd like to thank our highlighted artists, @ernesto6402, for providing us with this week's fantastic theme, {Traditional Music}. I'll be performing a song in my dialect, which is the EGGON tribe, which is well-known in Nasarawa State, Nigeria.
"Eyesu Me ba lu," which translates to "Jesus, I will follow you," is the song's title. Though I'm not really sure who sang it, I grew up hearing my parents sing it. It's more of a praise song, and my dad sings it every morning during devotion. I noticed right away that the topic of the week was traditional music, as our featured artist, @ernesto6402, had chosen. Knowing that I had something truly magnificent to offer, I was so excited. I have an even deeper passion for the song than my parents did because of how much they love it.

These songs of praise never fail to boost our confidence in Christ and encourage us to remain steadfast through difficult times. "Eyesu ta ri," the second song, similarly declares that Jesus has triumphed. The devil can no longer control us because he has been disgraced and humiliated. Jesus triumphs. No one can do what the Lord has done for us; therefore, let's celebrate and be grateful for what He has done for us.

We could have moments in life when we think God is no longer with us. I am referring to Nigeria, my beloved nation. Our government officials are doing little to improve the dire state of the economy in this country. The standard of living is quite expensive, and while it used to be easy for everyone to purchase food, the masses are now unable to afford a satisfying one-square meal. Sometimes the way I look at things will lead you to think that God is no longer on the throne due to what is going on. But what I know for sure is that He is God, He was God, and He will remain God forever. The message of this song is to focus solely on Jesus Christ. We are not submitting to any other god, no matter what obstacles life may throw at us.

My sincere prayer is that God will heal Nigeria, our nation, and the entire world. Amen

I hope my entry was helpful. Please continue to like and comment; any form of encouragement is greatly appreciated. One love.
