Hey friends of Hive, good day and happy Valentine’s to my lovely family on Hive and the Hive Music Festival community!

I warmly welcome you to my blog it’s a privilege to have you stop by, and I promise you won’t regret it. I go by the name @oluthomas.

Today, I’ll be playing a piano cover of “YESHUA” as sung by Jesus Image. Since today, February 14th, is widely known as Valentine’s Day a day dedicated to show love, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on the true essence of love. While we often associate Valentine’s with showing love to our significant others, love isn’t something to be reserved for just one day. Love should be expressed daily, not only toward family and friends but also toward strangers, the sick, the less privileged, and everyone around us.

In the spirit of this season of love, I dedicate this song to my God, my one and only Savior, my Redeemer, and the love of my heart. My Beloved is the most beautiful, the most excellent, the most awesome, and the Most High in all aspects of life.

I sing this song in appreciation of His love, kindness, and all He has done for me and everything that concerns me. There are times when it may seem like my Beloved is far from me, but the truth is He is never far. He is always with me, He never fails me, and He never forsakes me. He is a true lover. The One who knew no sin became sin, just so I could be complete in Him. He came and gave His life for my sins and for the sins of the whole world.

I have come to realize that God Himself is love, and love is God. So if we claim to know God, love should naturally flow from us. Love is not just about words; it is about actions, it is what we manifest from inside and outwardly, for the world to see. The Bible says, For God so loved the world that He gave. This tells us that love involves giving. If you claim to love someone but you are not willing to give be it your time, kindness, or resources then that love is incomplete.

God loved us so much that He freely gave His only begotten Son. Imagine giving away your only savings, your last piece of clothing, or even your home all because of love. Sounds extreme, right? But that’s what love looks like, it gives selflessly.
