Learning FL Studio: My Journey & Insights
Over time, music production has evolved massively, and the rise of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) has made it easier than ever to produce music good quality. FL Studio, One of the most user-friendly and powerful DAW, has helped me and many other producers around the world make music production simple and enjoyable.
I'll quickly share how I started music production
Well, my phone was all I had when I started making music. I went to a music studio with a couple of friends and boy, I found the idea of making beats to be interesting. I didn't have a laptop at that time so, I searche donline and discovered that there's FL Studio Mobile, a simplified version of FL studio on computer but a very effective version of the software. I started off with youtube video tutorials so i will get a hang of the software. I used FL mobile to make my first beat titled "Royalty" for the Lokoja-based Living Faith Teens Church. The production took quite a lot of time i won't lie but it was a jam 🔥 and then I realised then that I wanted to learn more about music production.
I didn't check my streams or analytics at the time, I didn't realise Royalty had more than 300 streams until two years later! That alone inspired me to take music production more serious.
Why FL Studio Became My Favorite DAW
FL studio has many benefits but the fact that it is user friendly and easy to use makes it stand out more than other DAWs. FL Studio is organised in a way that makes using it enjoyable and simple, in contrast to some DAWs that appear daunting at first. One of the most user-friendly DAWs available is this one because of its pattern-based workflow, drag-and-drop capabilities, aesthetically pleasing mixer, piano roll and many other things.
It was an exciting step for me to move from FL Studio Mobile to the desktop version. The application opened me a world of possibilities, from layering sounds with VSTs to playing with automation clips for dynamic effects. I always learn something new when I sit down to work on a beat.
What I’m Still Learning
Music production is a continuous learning process. Even though I've become more at ease with beat creation, track arrangement, and virtual instrument use, I'm still learning more about the intricacies of effects, mixing, and mastering. These are essential components that transform a song from being merely "good" to being polished and expert.
I'm now working on learning how to enhance sounds using EQ, compression, reverb, and delay. A song's final quality is determined by its mixing and mastering, therefore as I get better at these, I know my music will sound even better.
Starting Your Journey in Music Production
Every person who wants to start making music should consider FL Studio as their initial DAW option. Both desktop computers and mobile devices have access to everything required in FL Studio for musical creation.

Not quite long I installed FL studio in my laptop, whenever I open the app on my laptop, the interphase alone weakens my spirit lol... It's kinda confusing for me but I understand I need to just create time for it. I will watch YouTube tutorials and ensure am not left behind..

Seriously????😂
FL studio is very simple to operate, maybe it is because it is the first DAW I started learning
Although I've heard some professionals say the don't know how to use it
Sorry for claiming rights to all the images, I've edited the post and made the necessary corrections
