The Outreach

Hello everyone, it's good and delightful to be back again here to share in the vision of hive, together with hivers. It's your co-hiver Julius Ovey @ohv. Today I'll be sharing with the community some minuscule feet and height attained during the week of last. It was an outreach and a visitation to a girl's college. It is indeed a meticulous moment of national service year and as more profound to serve than to be served in several cases of which I'm counting this precious one year to be helpful. This day I'm gonna be taking y'all through some outreaches we had via pictures.

We were sincerely grateful and thankful for the cooperation given us by the school management as well as the elegant pupils which the community can attest to via the pictorial excerpts and display.

It is academically impactful to once in a while visit pupils, encourage them and open their eyes to realities of what they can actually become in nearest future and as for this series we're only trying to discharge our concerned duty as Corpers.

However, writing this, I just flashback to those days when I was still enrolling in my secondary school, and the we time had with Corp members who were assigned to my school was a memorial and an applaudable one then. Infact, how they usually address us during school assembly, discharging their teaching prowess and capacity in classroom as well as calling the entire student body to meet in a hall once in a while, where they educate and sensitize us on our health and relationship with people around us.In this series, we would be considering some tips which I and my fellow corp members discussed with the students, that can aid their academic prowess and excellence which among others are as follows:

1. To always trust God to help them.
2. To always believe they can actually do it.
3. To always be punctual in attendance.
4. To set up goals for themselves by preparing reading timetable and their aspirations.
5. To always partake in note taking and note making during and after classes.
6. To always help their parents at home and teachers in school if needs be.
7. To ask for help if needs arises as the case may be.
   The aforementioned tips are but a few among several others, for a pupil to attain academic excellence. Among others may include- acquainting their selves to technological handle, health-wise sensitization,etc.
   We were most assuredly convinced that they are going to model and exemplify what we actually thought them by their attentiveness and feedback.

Having examined them we find out, we discovered that some of them don't have their study schedule(that is, their reading timetable) and as such encourage them to draft it out with immediate effect and promptness which they actually promised to do so.
Having mentioned that, I'll like to take the community to another school where we met with other set of pupils which are classified according to their classes such as: the kindergarten(that is the pre nursery), the nursery and primary school pupils. These ones are goodly smart and proactive owing to how well we both blend together. We had a very good time of interaction and their part, they are able to respond to our questions. After we were done counseling them, we said for them words of encouragement through prayers and they in theirs also did same to us.

Hence, I'll opine that you should always encourage people you can reach out to, to always stay motivated, brace up and stay in touch to contributing to societal wellbeing.
