Artistas juveniles de mi infancia | Youth artists of my childhood
Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo otro post bastante genial recordando la infancia, en este caso es de artistas que en su momento me fascinaban bastante, sobre todo de los canales de Disney y Nickelodeon. En ambos canales surgieron superestrellas que son bastantes conocidas en la actualidad, algunos casos son Ariana Grande, Nat Wolf, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, y muchas más. En el post de hoy le hablaré de 4 artistas que me llegaron a gustar mucho cuando era niña, la mayoría tenían series basadas en sus carreras con aspectos ficticios, pero su música era lo que más destacaba de dichas series, recordar sus canciones me trajo muchos recuerdos y les quiero compartir a dichos artistas, comencemos!
Hello again! Today I come with another cool post remembering childhood, in this case it's about artists that fascinated me a lot at the time, especially from Disney and Nickelodeon channels. In both channels emerged superstars that are quite well known nowadays, some cases are Ariana Grande, Nat Wolf, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and many more. In today's post I will talk about 4 artists that I came to like a lot when I was a child, most of them had series based on their careers with fictional aspects, but their music was what stood out the most of those series, remembering their songs brought me many memories and I want to share those artists, let's go!
Hannah Montana fue una de mis series predilectas desde el primer momento, literalmente, yo estuve esperando ansiosa el día de su estreno y nunca olvidaré ese primer episodio, cumplió todas mis expectativas de niña de 9 años. A partir de ese momento no me perdía ni un solo episodio de esa serie la cual daban en Zapping Zone a las 7pm mas o menos en horario de Venezuela. Me gustaba mucho la trama de una chica normal que en secreto tiene una doble vida de una superestrella donde su familia y mejores amigos la apoyan guardando su secreto y ayudándola cuando tiene problemas de chica normal con dramas de celebridad. La serie tenia canciones increíbles tales como Nobody is Perfect, Who said, This is the life, y muchas otras pero definitivamente la que mas amaba era Rock Star. Esta serie fue tan exitosa que le sacaron película y hasta videojuegos, llegue a tener un juego de Hannah Montana de PlayStation 2 el cual termine y todo, ese juego se llamaba Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour. Realmente Miley Cyrus en su época de Hannah Montana fue increíble para mi en su momento y me alegra saber que sigue en su carrera como cantante sacando canciones muy buenas.
Hannah Montana was one of my favorite series from the very first moment, literally, I was anxiously waiting for the day of its premiere and I will never forget that first episode, it fulfilled all my expectations as a 9 year old girl. From that moment on I never missed a single episode of that series which was shown on Zapping Zone at 7pm or so in Venezuela. I really liked the plot of a normal girl who secretly has a double life of a superstar where her family and best friends support her by keeping her secret and helping her when she has problems of a normal girl with celebrity dramas. The series had amazing songs such as Nobody is Perfect, Who said, This is the life, and many others but definitely the one I loved the most was Rock Star. This series was so successful that they made movies and even video games, I even had a Hannah Montana PlayStation 2 game which I finished and everything, that game was called Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour. Really Miley Cyrus in her Hannah Montana days was amazing for me at the time and I'm glad to know that she is still in her career as a singer releasing very good songs.
No se si algunos sepan de la existencia de esta serie y banda ya que de hecho me costó conseguir material visual de ellos, además de que se la he mencionado a algunos conocidos y muchos de ellos ni los conocen pero cuando era niña yo amaba esta serie y las canciones que los acompañaban. Esta serie trataba de un grupo de amigos que tienen una banda de rock y van teniendo diversas aventuras de estrellas de rock, siendo una pequeña sátira con humor suave de la vida de un rockstar. Recuerdo que la daban por las noches en Nickelodeon y no me perdía los episodios, ademas de que me encantaban las canciones de esta banda, puedo destacar algunas como Banana Smoothie, L.A o Taxi Cab, pero la canción que mas me gusta y que me erizo la piel de la nostalgia es If That's not Love, ya que al buscar información de la banda escuche esa canción y me transportó rápidamente a 2007, realmente una de mis bandas favoritas de mi infancia.
I don't know if some of you know about the existence of this series and band since in fact it was hard for me to get visual material of them, besides I have mentioned it to some acquaintances and many of them don't even know them but when I was a child I loved this series and the songs that accompanied them. This series was about a group of friends who have a rock band and go on various rock star adventures, being a little satire with gentle humor of the life of a rockstar. I remember they used to show it at night on Nickelodeon and I never missed the episodes, besides I loved the songs of this band, I can highlight some like Banana Smoothie, L.A or Taxi Cab, but the song that I like the most and that made my skin crawl with nostalgia is If That's not Love, because when I was looking for information about the band I heard that song and it quickly transported me to 2007, really one of my favorite bands of my childhood.
Bueno, en esta quizás hice algo de trampa ya que cuando salió la serie de Big Time Rush estaba entrando un poco a la adolescencia, sin embargo para mi 13 años sigue siendo en parte la niñez, y además quiero incluir esta banda. En el momento en el que salió la serie yo estaba en una etapa en la que solo escuchaba puro rock y metal, sin embargo, Big Time Rush era una de esas bandas que escuchaba cuando quería alejarme de esa música "fuerte". La serie de ellos la veía luego de llegar de clases de música por las tarde y me encantaba, las aventuras de Kendall el líder, Logan el inteligente, James el vanidoso y Carlos el torpe me daban mucha risa, sumando a los personajes como lo son la hermanita menor de Kendall y el manager de la banda hacen que las aventuras diarias de los chicos en la serie sean mas divertidas. Las canciones definitivamente me gustaban mucho, como Famous, Any Kind of Guy, Boyfriend y Worldwide, pero la canción que mas me gustaba definitivamente era The City is Ours, ya que al escucharla es la que trae mas recuerdos de esa época donde disfrutaba esa serie y sus canciones. Me gustaba muchísimo, y me da risa que algunas amigas me conocen de hace mucho tiempo no creían que me gustase esa banda porque era metalera, pero no, también me encantan mis boy bands.
Well, in this one maybe I cheated a little bit because when the Big Time Rush series came out I was just entering adolescence, however for me 13 years old is still partly childhood, and I also want to include this band. At the time the series came out I was at a stage where I only listened to pure rock and metal, however, Big Time Rush was one of those bands I listened to when I wanted to get away from that "loud" music. I used to watch their series after I got home from music class in the afternoon and I loved it, the adventures of Kendall the leader, Logan the smart one, James the vain one and Carlos the clumsy one gave me a lot of laughs, adding the characters like Kendall's little sister and the band's manager made the daily adventures of the guys in the series more fun. The songs I definitely liked a lot, like Famous, Any Kind of Guy, Boyfriend and Worldwide, but the song that I liked the most was definitely The City is Ours, since listening to it is the one that brings back memories of that time where I enjoyed that series and its songs. I liked it a lot, and it makes me laugh that some of my friends who have known me for a long time didn't believe that I liked that band because I was a metalhead, but no, I also love my boy bands.
Así es, fui Jonática en su momento. Por donde empezar al hablar de este grupo el cual junto con RBD, fue mi cúspide de ser fan de algo. Tenia posters, cds, álbumes de barajitas y mucha mercancía de los Jonas Brothers en su momento ya que cada vez que veía algo de ellos le pedía a mis padres que me lo compraran. A diferencia de los artistas ya mencionados a ellos no los conocí por una serie, sino por una película cuya canción salía en los créditos, la película era La Familia del Futuro y la canción era Kids of the future, la cual pasaban mucho por Disney. A partir de ahí el canal comenzó a emitir videoclips de los Jonas Brothers y comencé poco a poco escucharlos bastante por mi cuenta. Más adelante salió una película muy famosa llamada Camp Rock la cual sinceramente veía solo por los Jonas Brothers que interpretaban a una banda llamada "Connect 3" y el principal protagonista era Joe Jonas junto con Demi Lovato. Más adelante sacaron una serie que siendo igual de honesta era MUY mala, pero bueno, eso no quitaba que me gustaran las canciones de ellos hasta la actualidad y de hecho sacarán pronto una canción que se ve bastante chévere. Me es difícil escoger mi canción favorita de ellos ya que me gustan casi todas. Podría destacar Paranoid, Hold On, Lovebug, When you looked in the Eyes, Pom Poms, Year 3000 y muchas más pero la que más recuerdo que amaba en su momento era S.O.S, como amaba esa canción y la repetía hasta el cansancio (pobres de mis padres). De verdad unas de las boy bans que más me encantaban y que aún al día de hoy sigo disfrutando de sus canciones.
That's right, I was Jonática at the time. Where to start when talking about this group which along with RBD, was my pinnacle of being a fan of something. I had posters, cds, shuffle albums and a lot of Jonas Brothers merchandise at the time because every time I saw something of theirs I would ask my parents to buy it for me. Unlike the aforementioned artists, I didn't know them from a series, but from a movie whose song was in the credits, the movie was The Family of the Future and the song was Kids of the future, which was aired a lot on Disney. From then on, the channel started to broadcast video clips of the Jonas Brothers and I started to listen to them a lot on my own. Later on a very famous movie called Camp Rock came out which I honestly only watched because of the Jonas Brothers who played a band called "Connect 3" and the main protagonist was Joe Jonas along with Demi Lovato. Later on they released a series that to be equally honest was VERY bad, but hey, that didn't stop me from liking their songs to this day and in fact they will be releasing a song soon that looks pretty cool. It's hard for me to choose my favorite song of theirs since I like almost all of them. I could highlight Paranoid, Hold On, Lovebug, When you looked in the Eyes, Pom Poms, Year 3000 and many more but the one I remember I loved the most at the time was S.O.S., how I loved that song and repeated it until I got tired of it (poor my parents). Truly one of the boy bans that I loved the most and I still enjoy their songs to this day.

Saludos amiga. Soy de una generación mucho más allá pero cuando mi hija era adolescente le encantaba Hanna Montana, RBD y One direction. A mí me gustaban las baladas de RBD por su melodía y buena letra.
