Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post bastante chévere en el cual les hablaré de canciones que más me gustan de los Jonas Brothers. Este grupo fue uno de mis favoritos cuando era niña y de hecho los mencioné en mi post de artistas juveniles de mi infancia. Los conocí gracias a Disney por la película de la Familia del Futuro, la cual me gusta mucho y cuando en el cine escuché la canción me encantó, luego vi que en el canal de Disney Channel el videoclip y ahí conocí a esta banda que marcó mi infancia en su momento. Hay canciones de ellos que disfruto hasta el día de hoy y me encantaría hablarle de ellas, comencemos!
Hello again! Today I come with a very cool post in which I will talk about the songs I like the most from the Jonas Brothers. This group was one of my favorites when I was a kid and in fact I mentioned them in my post about the young artists of my childhood. I met them thanks to Disney for the movie of the Family of the Future, which I like a lot and when I heard the song at the cinema I loved it, then I saw the video clip on the Disney Channel and there I met this band that marked my childhood at the time. There are songs of theirs that I enjoy to this day and I would love to tell you about them, let's go!
Esta canción la puse en uno de mis posts donde hablaba de artistas juveniles de mi infancia ya que es una de mis canciones favoritas de ellos además de una de las primeras canciones que conocí de ellos. La letra de la canción trata sobre alguien que hizo planes para cenar solo para los dos, pero eso no incluye a las locas de las amigas de la chica ya que está harto de situaciones embarazosas y conversaciones vacías siendo el final de la historia de ambos, dejándole de mandar mensajes y disculpándose por la mala comunicación, siendo este una llamada de emergencia (S.O.S) donde no hay segundas oportunidades, él lo dio todo y ahora tiene el corazón roto en dos y no puede conseguir la otra mitad, es como caminar en vidrios rotos y resignándose en desangrarse, siendo una llamada que jamás contestará. Es una canción muy entretenida aunque hable de una relación que termina, fue muy exitosa en su momento y recuerdo cantarla mucho con mis amigas.
I put this song in one of my posts where I talked about youth artists from my childhood as it is one of my favorite songs of theirs as well as one of the first songs I knew of theirs. The lyrics of the song are about someone who made dinner plans just for the two of them, but that doesn't include the girl's crazy girlfriends as he is sick of embarrassing situations and empty conversations being the end of the story for both of them, stopping texting her and apologizing for the miscommunication, this being an emergency call (S. O.S.) where there are no second chances, he gave everything and now his heart is broken in two and he can't get the other half, it's like walking on broken glass and resigning himself to bleed to death, being a call he will never answer. It is a very entertaining song even though it talks about a relationship that ends, it was very successful at the time and I remember singing it a lot with my friends.
Recuerdo que esta canción fue el tono de llamada de uno de mis primeros celulares de tapita y de verdad me gustaba mucho como todas las canciones de la lista. Recuerdo el momento en el que se estrenó el video musical en Disney Channel y realmente me parecía increíble en ese momento. La letra trata de que no tienen tiempo para lamentar donde necesitan el sentido común, hay que dejar de preguntarse cosas y adoptar una postura ya que hay más en la vida que solo vivir, una simple sonrisa y una mano que ayuda, no es tan difícil ser un buen amigo así que no hay que abandonar y seguir adelante, porque en un cuarto vacío puede ser tan ruidoso, son muchas lágrimas como para ahogarlas, cuando amas a alguien y te rompen el corazón no hay que renunciar al amor, hay que mantener la fe a tu lado así que aguanta. Me parece una canción muy buena con una letra bastante bonita, de niña no la entendía pero ya de grande me parece una canción bastante buena en todos los aspectos.
I remember that this song was the ringtone of one of my first cell phones and I really liked it a lot like all the songs on the list. I remember the moment the music video premiered on Disney Channel and I really thought it was amazing at the time. The lyrics are about not having time for regrets where you need common sense, you have to stop wondering things and take a stand as there is more to life than just living, a simple smile and a helping hand, it's not that hard to be a good friend so don't give up and move on, because in an empty room it can be so noisy, it's too many tears to drown, when you love someone and they break your heart you don't have to give up on love, you have to keep faith by your side so hang in there. I think it's a very good song with beautiful lyrics, as a child I didn't understand it but as an adult I think it's a very good song in all aspects.
Esta la conocí casi al mismo tiempo que S.O.S y siempre me pareció una canción con una temática divertida, y es del mismo álbum donde grabaron otra canción de viajes en el tiempo. Cabe acotar que esta es una versión de una canción de la banda Busted (que recomiendo escuchar también, es casi exactamente igual). La letra habla de alguien que un día regresó a casa a la hora del almuerzo, en ese momento escuchó un ruido en el patio trasero creyendo que eran niños revoltosos, pero era su vecino llamado Peter con un capacitador de flujo que realmente era una máquina del tiempo como la de una película que vio, él lo llevo al futuro y vio todo lo que había, un montón de boy bands y tres mujeres nadando alrededor del pueblo desnudas, estuvo en el año 3000 donde no cambiaron mucho las cosas lo único es que viven bajo el agua, y donde la tátara tátara nieta va por buen camino. Realmente aunque sea un cover me parece que respeta mucho la canción original dándole su toque jonático, definitivamente otra canción genial que agregar a la lista de este trío.

Really even though it is a cover it seems to me that it respects the original song giving it its jonatic touch, definitely another great song to add to the list of this trio.
Esta canción salió en el álbum Little Bit Longer que fue lanzado justo al mismo tiempo que la película de Camp Rock donde ellos actúan, de hecho, recuerdo muy bien que estrenaron este video luego de la película y me gustó mucho. La canción habla de narra a alguien que tiene calor pero ella tiene frío, ella da muchas vueltas como si supiera quien es él, pero en realidad no lo sabe porque lo tiene por los suelos, él cayó muy rápido y no puede sostenerse, ella tiene tacones altos y vestido rojo y él necesita tomar un respiro, él se hunde en la lava y quiere evitarlo, ella hace que la temperatura aumente porque él está ardiendo por ella. La verdad es que es una canción que si la ves ya de grande pareciera que es un poco subida de tono, sin embargo, no es explícita y la verdad no incita a nada, el ritmo y la melodía es bastante pegajosa y recuerdo que la tuve pegada bastante tiempo en ese momento siendo una de las canciones que más me gusta de ellos.
This song came out on the album Little Bit Longer which was released right around the same time as the Camp Rock movie where they perform, in fact, I remember very well that they released this video after the movie and I liked it a lot. The song talks about narrating someone who is hot but she is cold, she spins around a lot like she knows who he is, but she really doesn't because she has him down, he fell too fast and can't hold on, she has high heels and red dress and he needs to take a breath, he is sinking in lava and wants to avoid it, she makes the temperature rise because he is burning for her. The truth is that it is a song that if you see it when you grow up it seems to be a little bit too loud, however, it is not explicit and the truth is that it does not incite anything, the rhythm and the melody is quite catchy and I remember that I had it stuck for a long time at that time being one of the songs I like the most of them.
Esta canción me da muchísima nostalgia porque además de estar en una de las películas animadas de Disney que más me gustan (Familia del Futuro), fue la canción con la que conocí a este grupo de hermanos. Al igual que Year 3000 está habla del futuro, siendo del mismo álbum, también siendo un cover de una canción delos 80s del mismo nombre de la cantante Kim Wilde, la cual también me gusta bastante. La canción trata de alguien que esta parado en una vieja azotea, donde ve como los carros pasan corriendo, sintiéndose solo allí pero no sabe el porque, anima a Lewis para que siga avanzando manteniendo la cabeza en alto ya que no hay tiempo para mirar hacia abajo, ya que no creerá a donde van ahora, hay muchas luces brillantes a su alrededor, su imaginación trabaja por muchas horas y el mundo con el que sueña es una realidad donde esta la familia que siempre soñó, los Robinson, ahora son chicos del futuro. Esta canción me trae mucha nostalgia ya que me encantaba muchísimo desde la primera vez que la escuché en el cine en los créditos, es una muy buena versión de la canción original donde hubo cambios para relacionarla con la peli, definitivamente una de mis grandes favoritas de los Jonas Brothers.

Like Year 3000 this one talks about the future, being from the same album, also being a cover of a song from the 80s of the same name by singer Kim Wilde, which I also like a lot. The song is about someone standing on an old rooftop, where he sees cars rushing by, feeling lonely there but he doesn't know why, he encourages Lewis to keep moving forward keeping his head up as there is no time to look down, as he won't believe where they are going now, there are many bright lights all around him, his imagination works for many hours and the world he dreams of is a reality where the family he always dreamed of, the Robinsons, are now kids of the future. This song brings me a lot of nostalgia since I loved it so much since the first time I heard it in the movie theater in the credits, it is a very good version of the original song where there were changes to relate it to the movie, definitely one of my great favorites of the Jonas Brothers.

Los Jonas Brothers es un grupo que marcó mi infancia y la de muchas otras personas también, recuerdo que vi Camp Rock solo por ellos y bueno, admito que no vi su serie de Jonas L.A porque objetivamente no era muy buena, pero no importa, seguía siendo su fan. The Jonas Brothers is a group that marked my childhood and many other people's too, I remember watching Camp Rock just because of them and well, I admit I didn't watch their Jonas L.A. series because objectively it wasn't very good, but it doesn't matter, I was still a fan. Chamaaaaa me escuche toda la lista, no sabes lo feliz que me hizo 💜 me emocioné toda reviviendo la nostalgia JAJAJJA 🤣. Tenia demasiados años sin escuchar estas canciones y WOW ahora que las escucho son bastante rock-pop, la música que pega hoy día es otra cosa, me quedo loca con como antes en Disney había tantos elementos rock en la música de las series, extraño eso.
Gracias a este post descubrí que varios de sus temas eran covers, no tenía idea que el de la familia del futuro y el de Year 3000 lo eran, tremendo dato! pensaba que eran originales de ellos 😅
Otra cosa que me dejó loca es el sonido de la batería en Burnin Up y en Hold On, cuando las escuché de niña aun no sabia tocar la batería, pero ahora que le pongo atención al instrumento me doy cuenta que de verdad que suena BRUTAL, tienes repiques rapidos y buen peso en el sonido, me encanta, seria genial tocarlas! me acabas de dar tremenda idea con este post 😅
