Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post bastante genial en el cual les comentaré sobre canciones de los 80s que más me gustan. Este será el comienzo de una serie de posts en los que hablaré de canciones de esta década que me encantan porque si no lo sabían, adoro mucha de la música que se hizo en esta década específicamente y lo puedo notar en mi playlist. Esta música estuvo muy arraigada en mi desde mi niñez, mis padres siempre escuchaban esa música y personalmente me gustaba, lo escuchaba en la radio cuando iba en el carro con ellos y actualmente, mi novio comparte ese mismo gusto por la música de esa década. Para esta música no hay distinción, puede haber pop, rock, reggae, etc y quiero mostrarle cinco de muchas canciones que me gustan, comencemos!
Hello again! Today I come to you with a pretty cool post in which I will tell you about songs from the 80s that I love the most. This will be the beginning of a series of posts in which I will talk about songs from this decade that I love because if you didn't know, I love a lot of the music that was made in this decade specifically and I can tell in my playlist. This music was very ingrained in my childhood, my parents always listened to this music and I personally liked it, I listened to it on the radio when I was in the car with them and currently, my boyfriend shares that same taste for the music of that decade. For this music there is no distinction, there can be pop, rock, reggae, etc and I want to show you five of many songs that I like, let's go!
Esta canción la encontré hace unos meses luego de mucho tiempo buscándola y me hizo feliz conseguirla. Recuerdo que la escuchaba mucho cuando era mas pequeña y me gustaba mucho. Cutting Crew es una banda de rock inglesa formada en el año 1985. Esta canción fue lanzada en 1986 y como dice el titulo, trata sobre caer en los brazos de la persona que amas. La letra trata de que la persona no sabe como murió en sus brazos, capaz fue un beso o algo que dijo, sigue buscando algo que no puede encontrar fácilmente con corazones rotos que yacen a su alrededor. Parece que toda esta reflexión lleva a esta persona a creer que se equivocó, se acabó y el momento se ha ido y que ella le hizo todo más fácil para ello. Al principio creía que era sobre caer en los brazos de persona que amas por confort, pero la canción demuestra que hay cierta ruptura, eso sí, no quita que esta canción de rock de la década sea muy buena y disfrutable.
I found this song a few months ago after a long time looking for it and I was happy to get it. I remember I used to listen to it a lot when I was younger and I liked it a lot. The lyrics are about the person not knowing how they died in their arms, maybe it was a kiss or something they said, they keep looking for something they can't easily find with broken hearts lying all around them. At first I thought it was about falling into the arms of person you love for comfort, but the song shows that there is some brokenness, mind you, it doesn't take away from the fact that this rock song of the decade is very good and enjoyable.
Otra canción que también conseguí recientemente luego de mucho tiempo, la pasaron en una estación de radio que escuchan mis padres en casa y cuando escuché el titulo fui corriendo a ponerla en mi playlist. Heart es una banda de rock estadounidense formada en el año 1970. La canción fue lanzada en el año 1985 y tiene una letra que habla sobre los sueños que aparecen mientras cierra los ojos y mientras hace frío afuera donde cada segundo de la noche vive otra vida y que cada vez que despierta, está más lejos de donde está, además hay algo allá afuera y no puede resistirse, solo quiere esconderse del dolor, y que el silencio es la canción más linda que ha escuchado. Esta canción me gusta mucho, es un pop bastante tranquilo con una melodía muy bonita y algo pegajosa, realmente me gusta mucho.

I like this song a lot, it's pretty laid back pop with a very nice and somewhat catchy melody, I really like it a lot.
Esta canción es muy hermosa y la agregué a mi playlist gracias a mi novio una de las primeras veces que fui a su casa y escuchamos música. Fleetwood Mac es una banda británica que fue formada en el año 1967. Esta canción estrenada en el año 1987 y le gusta mucho a mi madre, en su momento la escuchaba mucho y cuando la volví a escuchar años después fue una sensación muy genial ya que es muy bonita. La letra comienza con una persona preguntándole a otra si puede oírlo mientras dice su nombre, sabiendo que está enamorado y no sabe qué decir, así que hablará un poco más fuerte y si es necesario gritará diciendo que quiere estar con esa persona en todas partes. Gracias a ello los amigos le dicen que está actuando diferente, será mejor que empiecen lo antes posible antes de que le rompan el corazón. Realmente me parece una canción muy bonita, tiene una melodía bastante agradable que incluso dan ganas de bailar, es una de mis canciones favoritas.

Esta canción la conocí recientemente por una recomendación de Deezer y quedé enganchada al primer instante de escucharla completa. Ultravox fue una banda inglesa de new wave formada en 1976. La canción fue lanzada en 1984 y la letra narra a una persona que baila mientras tiene lágrimas en sus ojos, llorando por la vida que ya se fue y quedó en el pasado y también viviendo del recuerdo de un viejo amor. Son las 5 y está camino a casa de nuevo sin creer que esa será la última vez, el hombre llora de nuevo. Ya es tarde y está solo con su amor, bebiendo para olvidar la tormenta que se avecina mientras adoran el sonido de la canción que aman. Es una canción muy buena, algo pegajosa, con una melodía que te transporta a la década mezclada con un estilo único, de verdad me agrada haber conocido esta canción que fue nueva para mis oídos.

Esta canción la conozco desde hace tiempo, sin embargo como el resto de canciones de la lista la conseguí hace unos meses, en este caso fue gracias a un streamer que puso esta canción de fondo y la verdad fue muy gratificante escucharla de nuevo ya que me gusta mucho. The Human League es una banda británica de synth pop formada en 1977. Esta canción fue lanzada como sencillo en 1981 siendo muy exitosa, y la letra parece hablar con otra persona y le dice que parece que trabaja como camarera en un bar de copas, cuando la conoció la eligió y le dio una vuelta, luego de cinco años parece que tiene el mundo a sus pies ya que el éxito ha sido muy fácil para ella. Eso sí, él fue el que la puso a ella en el lugar donde está y que en cualquier momento puede bajarla, él dice que ella no lo quiere y que no puede creerle cuando dice que no lo verá y que no lo necesitas, debería cambiar su forma de pensar antes de que sea tarde y que ambos lo lamenten. Aunque esta letra me parece como de una discusión de pareja que quiere atribuir éxitos del otro, no puedo negar que la canción tiene un ritmo muy movido y bailable, realmente ese aspecto me gusta mucho y es bastante pegajosa.
