Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post bastante chévere donde les hablaré de música de la decada de los 70s que me encanta. Actualmente estoy haciendo una serie de posts de música de los 80s y mientras buscaba en mi playlist me topé con mucha musica bastante buena de la década anterior, por lo que me anime a hacer posts sobre musica de esa decada también, las canciones de las que hablaré hoy son las que más escucho y les quiero hablar sobre ellas, comencemos!
Hello again! Today I come with a pretty cool post where I will talk about music from the 70s decade that I love. I'm currently doing a series of posts about music from the 80s and while I was searching my playlist I came across a lot of great music from the previous decade, so I decided to do posts about music from that decade too, the songs I'll talk about today are the ones I listen to the most and I want to talk about them, let's go!

Esta canción la conocí por una película llamada "Ella está encantada", la cual me gustaba mucho cuando era niña. Cuando la escuché por primera vez se me quedó super pegada y al buscarla encontré que originalmente es de Elton John, un gran artista. Fue lanzada en el año 1976 cantada a duo con Kiki Dee. La letra está narrada como dos personas interactuando, uno dice que no rompa su corazón mientras ella responde que no podría hacerlo aunque lo intentara, creando una bonita interacción donde se dice que nadie lo sabe pero mientras ella estaba desanimada él era su payaso, y que desde el principio cedieron sus corazones. Esta canción me encanta, es difícil no animarse con el ritmo y la melodía tan agradable que tiene, una de las canciones que más me gustan de esta década.
I knew this song from a movie called "Ella is enchanted", which I liked a lot when I was a child. When I heard it for the first time it stuck with me and when I looked it up I found that it was originally by Elton John, a great artist. It was released in 1976 sung as a duet with Kiki Dee. The lyrics are narrated as two people interacting, one says not to break her heart while she replies that she couldn't do it even if she tried, creating a nice interaction where they say that no one knows but while she was discouraged he was her clown, and that from the beginning they gave their hearts away. I love this song, it's hard not to cheer up with the rhythm and the nice melody it has, one of my favorite songs of this decade.

Esta canción la conocí por mi novio el cual comparte el mismo gusto musical que yo y me suele recomendar mucha música de los 70s y 80s que son maravillosas. Es del grupo de rock estadounidense Toto y fue lanzada en el año 1978. La letra le habla a alguien diciéndole que no está en la forma en que lo abraza, tampoco en la forma en la que dice que le importa, ni en la manera en como trata a sus amigos, ni en las cosas que dice o hace, que solo aguarde en la línea ya que el amor no siempre llega a tiempo. Esta canción habla de que el amor no siempre llega cuando lo esperamos y hay que tener paciencia para que llegue, sin renunciar a ello tan fácilmente. La tuve pegada un buen tiempo de lo mucho que me gustó, convirtiéndose en una de las canciones que más escucho.
I got to know this song through my boyfriend who shares the same musical taste as me and usually recommends me a lot of music from the 70s and 80s that are wonderful. It is by the American rock band Toto and was released in 1978. The lyrics speak to someone telling them that it's not in the way you hug them, not in the way you say you care, not in the way you treat your friends, not in the things you say or do, to just wait on the line because love doesn't always come in time. This song talks about how love doesn't always come when we expect it and you have to be patient for it to come, without giving it up so easily. I had it stuck for a long time because of how much I liked it, becoming one of the songs that I listen to the most.

Esta es otra canción que conocí gracias a mi novio y de verdad que la primera vez que la escuché me encantó, cada vez que la escucho me emociono un poquito. Esta canción es de la banda de rock británica Fleetwood Mac y fue lanzada en el año 1976. La letra le habla a alguien diciéndole que amarlo no es correcto, preguntándose como puede cambiar las cosas que siente ya que si pudiera le daría el mundo, le pregunta porque todo dio la vuelta pero ya puede tomar su propio camino. Esta canción me encanta, me es inevitable querer cantar el coro de esta canción a todo volumen de lo mucho que me gusta, otra canción que escucho de manera frecuente de lo mucho que me gusta.
This is another song that I met thanks to my boyfriend and I really loved it the first time I heard it, every time I listen to it I get a little bit excited. This song is by the British rock band Fleetwood Mac and was released in 1976. The lyrics speak to someone telling him that loving him is not right, wondering how he can change the things he feels because if he could he would give him the world, he asks him why everything turned around but he can now go his own way. I love this song, I inevitably want to sing the chorus of this song at full volume because of how much I love it, another song I listen to on a frequent basis because of how much I love it.

Esta canción la suelo escuchar más que todo por mis padres que la suelen poner mucho en la casa y la verdad no me quejo para nada ya que me gusta mucho. Pertenece a la banda de rock estadounidense Blondie 1974. la canción es narrada por alguien que dice que tuvo un amor y fue genial, sin embargo tenía un corazón de cristal, parecía algo real y serio pero descubrió mucha desconfianza, lo cual hizo que se fuera el amor, también descubrió que estaba perdiendo la cabeza y aunque parecia real estaba tan ciega, y aunque lo que ve entre el medio es algo agradaable que se siente bien, el amor es muy confuso, en donde está no tiene paz y siente que lo está perdiendo lo cual no está bien. Una canción de desamor que me encanta, la puedo escuchar muchas veces sin cansarme siendo una gran canción de la década de los 70s.
I usually listen to this song mostly because of my parents who usually play it a lot at home and the truth is that I don't complain at all since I like it a lot. It belongs to the American rock band Blondie 1974. the song is narrated by someone who says she had a love and it was great, however she had a glass heart, it seemed something real and serious but she discovered a lot of distrust, which made the love go away, she also discovered that she was losing her mind and although it seemed real she was so blind, and although what she sees in between is something nice that feels good, love is very confusing, where she is she has no peace and feels she is losing it which is not good. A heartbreak song that I love, I can listen to it many times without getting tired of it being a great song from the 70s.

Creo que esta canción la puedo considerar como una de mis grandes favoritas de lo mucho que me gusta. Los Bee Gees fueron un grupo musical británico que tuvo mucha fama en la época de los 70s, teniendo muchísimos éxitos convirtiéndolos en íconos de la década. Tiene muchas canciones excelentes pero el día de hoy quiero hablarles de la que más de gusta, How deep is your love. La letra le habla a alguien diciendo que conoce su mirada bajo el sol de la mañana, sintiendo que lo toca como un diluvio y que cuando se aleja de él, solo quiere tenerla de vuelta en sus brazos, va a él como una brisa de verano y lo mantiene abrigado con su amor, mostrándole qué tan profundo es su amor viviendo en un mundo de locos. Esta canción me conmueve de lo linda que es, la puedo escuchar mil veces ya que es muy buena. Definitivamente una de mis canciones favoritas del grupo, de la década y en general.
I think I can consider this song as one of my great favorites because of how much I like it. The Bee Gees were a British musical group that had a lot of fame in the 70s, having many hits making them icons of the decade. They have many excellent songs but today I want to talk about the one I like the most, How deep is your love. The lyrics speak to someone saying that he meets her gaze under the morning sun, feeling her touch him like a flood and when she walks away from him, he just wants to hold her back in his arms, she goes to him like a summer breeze and keeps him warm with her love, showing him how deep his love is living in a crazy world. This song moves me with how cute it is, I can listen to it a thousand times as it is so good. Definitely one of my favorite songs of the group, of the decade and in general.
