AFRI VOCAL INSTITUTE - @CABELINDSAY (HIVE OPENMIC ADMIN) SHARES "MUSICAL ABILITY TIPS" ENG-ESP
Hello everyone, how are you all doing today?
I warmly welcome you all to today's episode of the Afri vocal institute on hive, which is an initiative that helps vocalists on the blockchain get better with their music.
We have looked at a lots of Musical lessons, both in theory and practical, and I can tell to that it has impacted many musician.
It's of no doubt that I love music and I have been having that push in my heart that how can I help people get more information with this initiative?
This led me to approaching a brother, who is the admin of the hive openmic community, and the founder.
He is a person of @cabelindsay.
I'm glad he honoured my request to come on board to take us on this topic.
This is indeed beautiful and I'm sure you all far and here will learn one or two from the technique he shares is today.
After he sent this video, I asked for the breakdown of this video for better understanding.
Then he gave it.
According to him:
First it is an invitation to warm up the vocal cords with a heart opening chant.
This is a prayer by a "Cherokee indigenous elder called Dhyani Ywahoo".
It calls to "Aqteshna," which translates to "the dew is on the grass," and it is as if we are expressing gratitude for the gifts of this land.
Second is a positive affirmation, also in the Cherokee language. The word, "Adawe" is similar to word like "divine being".
@cabelindsay used this song to call in the four directions, which essentially acknowledges the natural forces with us.
The translation of the song is: "Wise protectors, they are with us. Serenity resounds. Mother Earth and Father Sky, they are with us. All is well."
I hope you all extract the lesson from the technique he share us all.
Have a great week ahead everyone and stay healthy!!
