With the song I shared, what blew my mind, was that it has the reality characteristics. During my walk (just got back home) I listened to this song with my audio ear plugs in. What still amazes me is that it sounds truly like a live performance. With little human like mistakes. The voice breaking and so on.

Studio recordings tend to sound note perfect, that's what the goal is. Well in many productions. Even with the use of autotune. Digital instruments and many takes to make songs almost too perfect.

There are songs made by the latest gen music A.I. that I cannot tell the difference anymore with the real human thing.

Somehow this is logical, because these systems are trained with real human music productions. So at some point a missed drum beat, a word sounding a bit off. The sound of breathing during a 'live' performance. Up to a point where it will be highly improbable that most people can still detect A.I.

That's what struck me with the song I shared here. I can sort of imagine what kind of a microphone was used, well in virtuality that is.

And there are those little human errors in there too. At least I notice them. Without them sounding artificial and constructed.

For some specific project I would like a real band to go on stage with some of the material I've been working on, with the help of these kind of applications.

That would still be the thing I would like to experience. Making it more like a tool to produce something that a band will make into their own and perform in front of a live audience.

Thanks for the interaction!
