Hello IndiaUnited community and fellow Web3 gamers! I am so excited to participate in this contest. When it comes to the theme "Game On Hive: What Keeps You Coming Back?", there is one specific game that completely hooked me, and that is Rising Star.

What makes me enjoy it.

As a final-year nursing student, my real life is packed with heavy hospital clinical shifts and constant studying. I don't have hours to sit down and play fast-paced, high-stress games. That is why Rising Star is my ultimate escape. It is a casual, idle music game where you start from the absolute bottom as a broke street musician with just a cheap acoustic guitar, doing small gigs to earn tokens.
The ultimate goal is to build your stats, buy better gear, and work your way up to becoming a global rock star.

what keeps me coming back?

What keeps me coming back every single day is the perfect mix of strategy, card collecting, and steady rewards because it is an idle game, I can log in during a quick break at the hospital, pick a music mission, start it, and drop my phone to focus back on my duties. While I am away, my virtual musician is busy performing. This makes it so easy to play and earn throughout my busy day.

My journey started out very small, and my biggest challenge early on was dealing with the game's Ego mechanic. As you do more missions, you get temporary fans, but those fans also increase your Ego. If your Ego gets too high, it eats up your earnings. I had to learn the strategy of balancing my fans by consistently running music lessons to keep my Ego at zero.

My absolute favorite moment and biggest achievement so far was when I finally saved up enough in-game STARBITS tokens to buy my very first 3-card pack from the marketplace. Opening that pack and seeing a rare singer card with massive permanent stats felt so rewarding. It changed my whole gameplay because those permanent stats allowed me to unlock higher-paying gigs like radio interviews.

I keep coming back because the progression loop is highly addictive. Every card you collect permanently upgrades your account. After a long, exhausting day in the hospital wards, checking my game and watching my virtual music empire grow bit by bit gives me a strange kind of peace. It proves you don't need a high-end gaming PC or a lot of free time to have fun and earn on Hive.
