This week theme was movie soundtrack and i will be performing "amazing grace" by john Newton from the movie AMAZING GRACE.
The 2006 movie amazing grace focuses on the life of William Wilberforce, a British politician who spearheaded the movement to abolish the slave trade in the British empire, while the movie centers on Wilberforce's fight, it prominently featurs the hymn "amazing grace" written by John Newton, a former slave trader who undergoes a profound religious conversion. The film use the hymn as a central metaphor for Wilberforc's journey and the broader themes of redemption and freedom from sin.
