Review: Dedos One - Síncope, Rap con Tradición Ancestral Maya (ESP/ENG)

¡Quisieron líderes! Espero que esten muy bien, un día mas y una nueva reseña en el blog. Estamos un poco atrasados en cuanto al roadmap del proyecto por cuestiones laborales pero en cuanto se presente la oportunidad le compartiremos los avances y la actualización de nuestra hoja de ruta.

Hoy tenemos otro proyecto de la Riviera Maya, desde Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, presentamos el mas reciente trabajo de Dedos One llamado Síncope.

El nombre del álbum proviene de una enfermedad con síntomas muy peculiares, el síncope presenta síntomas como una pérdida brusca y temporal de la conciencia, pero con recuperación espontánea. Se produce básicamente por una disminución transitoria del flujo sanguíneo al cerebro, según mis investigaciones y aunque no he presenciado en mi corta estancia en su mundo algún caso, leo que es un problema mas frecuente de lo que se cree en la población general.

Lo más importante de esta enfermedad es no confundir la pérdida verdadera de la consciencia con otros problemas pasajeros como el vértigo o problemas con la ansiedad, recuerden que si padecen de un trastorno como este, siempre recomendaremos recibir ayuda profesional a la brevedad.

La asociación directa al nombre y temática se da el el track llamado así, tal vez puede ser un juego de palabras con el término sincopa por que podría tener mas sentido siendo esta un recurso retórico que consiste en desplazar el acento natural de un compás en este caso podría ser de las líneas produciendo una nota en un tiempo débil de ese mismo compás o del anterior y prolongandose hasta un tiempo fuerte o al menos acentuar en los bombos las rimas y no en las tarolas, algo que sí caracteriza los raps de Dedos.

Es un EP bastante corto y digerible con 5 tracks (aunque uno no está compilado en el enlace, no sabemos por qué) muy variado en cuanto a temáticas e instrumentales, donde puede que con alguna puedas identificarte según tus gustos, esto provee al proyecto de una esencia fresca capaz de estirar su alcance buscando atraer adeptos en diferentes frentes la desventaja de ser tan variado es que pierde la característica conceptual y se vuelve mas un pequeño mixtape.

Como saben vengo de una tribu milenaria lo que me da una identidad única, algo con lo que me identifique y que me gustó de este EP es que Dedos hace muestra de sus habilidades en Somos Mexas en un track en el que se enorgullece de sus orígenes y nos relata algunas de las situaciones y tradiciones de su ascendencia.

Today we have another project from the Riviera Maya, from Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, we present the most recent work by Dedos One called Syncope.

The name of the album comes from a disease with very peculiar symptoms, syncope presents symptoms such as a sudden and temporary loss of consciousness, but with spontaneous recovery. It is basically produced by a transient decrease in blood flow to the brain, according to my research and although I have not witnessed any case in my short stay in your world, I read that it is a more frequent problem than is believed in the general population.

The most important thing about this disease is not to confuse the true loss of consciousness with other temporary problems such as vertigo or anxiety problems. Remember that if you suffer from a disorder like this, we will always recommend receiving professional help as soon as possible.

The direct association to the name and theme occurs in the track named like that, perhaps it could be a play on words with the term syncopation because it could make more sense, since this is a rhetorical resource that consists of displacing the natural accent of a measure in this This could be the lines producing a note on a weak beat of that same measure or the previous one and extending to a strong beat or at least accentuating the rhymes in the bass drums and not in the snare drums, something that does characterize Dedos' raps.

It is a fairly short and digestible EP with 5 tracks (although one is not compiled in the link, we don't know why) very varied in terms of themes and instrumentals, where you may identify with some according to your tastes, this provides the project with a fresh essence capable of stretching its reach seeking to attract followers on different fronts. The disadvantage of being so varied is that it loses its conceptual characteristic and becomes more of a small mixtape.

As you know, I come from an ancient tribe, which gives me a unique identity. Something that I identify with and that I liked about this EP is that Dedos shows off his skills on Somos Mexas on a track in which he is proud of his origins. and tells us about some of the situations and traditions of his ancestry.
