A Needed Night Out!

Homesteading is constant work...

Every since my wife and I made the move from Michigan to Missouri, we have not had much time to do anything other than work, get things set up, and work some more. Thankfully, last night, we were offered the chance to go see a live show in the Historic Rodgers Theater. Not only that, it was a show that I had designed the posters and tickets for! My boss, as a show of thanks, offered me two tickets to the show, a cost of twenty dollars a piece that honestly we could not have afforded at this time. Thanks to him, I was able to take my wife out and see a really good show!

The Show...

The show was two bands playing live. One was called "Freedom and Misty," and they were really good. They did a lot of Fleetwood Mac and other sins featuring a strong female lead. I can't tell you enough, they were really good! The other hand was called "Solid Walls of Sound," and they were an Elton John tribute band. Now, Elton John is not my favorite, but the band did a great job! They sounded like him and did the costume changes and everything! With the atmosphere of the Theater, it made for a great night out!

Support Local Live Music!

If you don't support local small venues like this then live music will die as we know it. Make sure to support when you can, even if it's just using some free tickets to go see bands you've never heard of...

You might have a really great night like we did!
