Vibes web3 music competitions // week 21, MY ALL

Phew!! It's been a long while on this beautiful space, I'm so glad I'm back full and stronger. This is my new entry for the vibes WEB3 MUSIC competition week 21 and I'll be singing "My all".
Whenever I listen to My All by Mariah Carey, it feels like I’m reliving one of the most emotional moments of my life. This song takes me back to a time when I was completely in love with someone—someone who meant everything to me. But life sometimes takes people away from us, and no matter how much we want to hold on, we’re left with only the memories.

"My All" isn’t just a song to me; it’s a reflection of my own experience of having to let go while still feeling deeply connected. The lyrics perfectly capture that feeling of emptiness you have when someone who was once close is now just out of reach, like a distant star you keep reaching for, knowing you’ll never quite touch it again. And yet, you keep hoping, keep wishing, and keep longing for just one more moment.

I remember staying up late, unable to sleep, because all I could think about was what it would be like to have just one more night with that person. To hear their voice, to see them smile, to just feel them close—even if only for a moment. And that’s what this song expresses so beautifully: the willingness to give up everything for a chance to feel that love again, even for a few hours, even if it means risking getting hurt all over again.

For me, My All is like a confession—a confession of how deeply I felt, how much I was willing to sacrifice, and how, despite everything, that love still lingers. Because sometimes, when you truly love someone, it’s not about moving on; it’s about learning to live with that love and the memories they left behind.
