Hive Open Mic Week 52 - Theme - Freedom
Greetings community members!
This week’s theme is ‘Freedom’ and I’ve uploaded my own piano rendition of the song - ‘I Want To Break Free’. This is a song by the legendary British Rock Band - Queen. It was written by their bass guitarist John Deacon. The song was well received in Europe and South America and is regarded as an anthem of the fight against oppression.
Freedom can mean different things to different people.
For some, it might be from breaking chains of oppression of any kind.
For others, it could be trying to get out of a toxic relationship.
For some, it could be switching from a 9-5 job to do something that they are truly passionate about or it could be someone who is moving to a new country to secure their family's safety and future.
It could be someone who is starting their spiritual journey or someone who has just managed to attain financial independence or reached a life goal.
Freedom could mean traveling the world to see different cultures or the ability to express one's true thoughts, beliefs and actions without constraints.
We are all trying to achieve 'Freedom' in one way or the other.
The least we can do is help each other out during our time on earth together.

A couple of notes regarding our Hive Open Mic community. For the future, if you're willing, it is appreciated if you will state "Hive Open Mic - Week 52" in the beginning of your video, so people can directly understand your participation with our event. Also, the 3Speak video platform doesn't embed in Hive, unfortunately, so I often recommend people use YouTube. Just options. Your presence here is much appreciated, however you decide to participate.
