Thursday Chillstep Vibes

As we've got a new release coming out tomorrow from the Exploration EP, I thought it would be fitting to get us all in the mood for some experimental electronic music.

This EP has nothing to do with my usual drum & bass vibes but they are more on the chilled out side with varying tempos and drum beats thrown in to the mix.

Tomorrow's tune goes deeper into the chillout rabbit hole but today, we've got the first track of the EP called "Futile Droplets", which is a frustrated electronic music rant about my PhD topic which, at the time, felt like it was a waste of time lol.

When I told someone on a hike the other week about the name of this track, they burst out laughing and couldn't walk for a few moments because they appreciated the naming. Which made me smile as well.

At least there was a bit of humour that came out of a situation that was pretty desperate at times, that desperate mood captured brilliantly by @gabrielatravels awesome artwork above!

There is definitely a "frustrated" undercurrent to this track whilst the exterior of it pretends to be chilled.
