This DnB Tune Fell Into The Black Hole...

I was on the phone to a few people this evening, one of them being another producer who was on the same label a few years ago and I had totally forgot that I made another "space themed" drum & bass track.

This may well have been my first tune of the drum & bass ilk and it was part of a compilation release on LW Recordings.

At the time, I think the label I was part of also submitted tunes to LW and they featured Black Hole on there.

I remember the feeling behind this one as I came back from an epic summer of travelling in 2015, going around the world, meeting all kinds of people.

Then I was back in an empty flat, no-one around and no-one picking up the phone on the other side. It wasn't the holiday blues. It was a holiday black hole...

And so the "phone ringing" sound you hear throughout is a reflection of that, it's ringing intensifying as the track plays and the dark vibes of the tune evolve.

Tbh, at the moment, I'm enjoying sinking in to this darkness atm, maybe you will join me past the event horizon too ;)

I can only seem to find a Spotify link now of this track so if you have it, why not add it to your playlist :)

You know, it somewhat reminds me of System Shock 2, it sounds strikingly similar to its base music and I love it, thank you for sharing it :)

I had to go and check that soundtrack out as I haven't heard of System Shock 2 but that's so cool it reminds you of that! I found this video of the whole soundtrack, digging the atmospheres here!

I'd love to have my music feature on a game or somewhere - I have been looking into sync licencing which is one way it can be done.

Thanks for listening in!
