Monday Vibes - Digging Deep With Drum & Bass

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, blink, Monday... and so on...

Just when you're settling in to a bit of rest over the weekend, we're back around again to Monday and you're like, what the f... happened there!

Times are tough at the moment for everyone as we are getting shafted left, right and centre by the fiat overlords - I can only do my bit to share the drum & bass vibes.

The recent drum & bass shares from Dance Weekend have been my latest remixes that came back from the mastering studio recently which have a positive vibe to them, packed with high octane energy.

Today, as we've had our text book springtime rain in the UK, the Monday vibes picked up again at the fiat mining operations so I did a bit of digital "crate digging" on my YouTube page to find this track called "Can't Give In", which feels appropriate.

The track is inspired by digging deep with a slightly grittier feel around the bassline and the main synth melody which, when I made it in my music software, felt quite haunting in a way!

I remember sharing this first on a Hive radio show a few years ago when it was initially released in 2019, I think it was called Spotlight on the Artist but my memory is not what it once was!

Like a well used pencil, it's not as sharp as it used to be!
