Into The Breakbeat Zone
As we're gearing up for the newest music release on Friday, my recent posts have been a little different from the usual drum & bass delights that makes up the bulk of my catalogue.
However, there's a good reason for that - I've got new tunes on the way that aren't drum & bass haha!
There will be a mixture of drumstep, ambient and even a cheeky dabble in to some Techno as the single releases of the "Exploration EP" makes its way through to the public domain!
The first time I went out of my comfort zone with non-dnb was a few years back when I teamed up with Bufinjer to create a 9 track EP of different vibes.
Today's share is my first (and only attempt to date) at breakbeat in an incredibly originally named title "Break the Beat"...
I went for a relatively simple melody as all I had at the time was a really bad laptop to make this tune and it couldn't handle any music project that had a few more sounds to it!
So I ended up just messing around with the bassline and having fun with all the different patterns - probably ended up a little too trippy but oh well :)

Yeah, Rave music, no questions ask, i would totally party to this song, especially at 1.25 speed, it is MAGIC, good point on that tip btw, as at normal speed it doesnt feel like it but when you play it that fast it sure its, big hug and see you around :)

I enjoy it more than the original, but they are both great, I guess that you make songs that are "adaptable" to whatever speed you might want XD
