Drum & Bass - Game of Patience...
One thing I've felt more so this year than ever is that this year is a game of patience, life outside of posting drum & bass has been pretty rough, particularly with fiat mining but I'm just hanging in there and accepting things as they are, whilst trying to work on skills for the next opportunity.
"Such drama, much wow."
That's the motto behind today's share called "Stare", which is my reinvention of a jingle I heard whilst watching an advertisement on a mobile game for Solitaire (also called Patience in some parts, hence the excellent pun work in the title of this blog - it all makes sense now!)
I never thought that I'd end up with this tune when I started it though and as I was working through it, I could feel the drama intensify like a huge game of high stakes poker on the final table.
I've managed to get down to the final table a couple of times when I used to play Hold 'Em and it does get pretty nervy at the end! You start making terrible judgements and the nerves pick up, I've come 2nd once though and that was good enough for me.
I wouldn't have called that high stakes though, more like a bit of fun money for the evening at Vegas!

I'm pretty sure something sounds familiar but I don't know what or why as I don't know if I've seen the thing in question (and doubt I would have played it).

Mmmm, interesting that it sounds familiar, maybe you have heard the melody previously but not in a DnB format :)
Possibly, I notice a lot of things without noticing them and don't seem to notice other things at all XD
