12 Minutes of Trance

I actually think that this is the only tune I have made that is over 12 minutes long and it sticks to that trance ethos where everything builds up progressively in phases after the intro.

When I first finished it, it was about the 7 minute mark but it didn't feel like there was enough time for the track to breathe so I decided to almost double it lol.

This one is definitely a nod to the trance tracks that I first listened to back in the early 2000s and has a minimal vibe to it I guess with subtle progression as the tune moves along.

Why is it called Invader?

I believe it is nothing more complicated than that was the name of the main lead that hits on the drop but I added a bit more story to it as I was producing the track.

Drawing inspiration from life events, this tells the story of someone who comes in to your life, invades it for a bit, then buggers off leaving you in a worse place than when you started.

It all works out in the end though :)
