The Wake festival 2026, Sussex

Last year I attended a fantastic little festival in Sussex and I’m going back this year with the ModCaf crew, to run a workshop there on using electronic gear to make music. We will be bringing along an assortment of items, including drum machines, synths, samplers and whatever else people are willing to let people have a go on. So there won’t be any ancient hurdy gurdies or anything like that!

You my fellow Hivians will be able to join us if you wish, to hang out with us and enjoy the rest of the festival whilst at it. I’ll be busy for an hour or two running our little corner. Then after that will pack away and enjoy the rest of the event.

Hoping to squeeze in some performances potentially of our own but our stage will be used for some acoustic sets after the workshop, timings of which are yet to be confirmed. Last year they were in the afternoon.
