Very good point, here’s a recent photo of me. Will be lovely to meet you there and your wife too. We should both do write-ups on Hive.

How will I recognise you?

I can always delete your reply after seeing it or if you’d rather not do that, that’s fine.

I haven't got any recent photos at all, sadly - I've realised it's become a bit of a habit to avoid cameras ! But I should be able to recognise you, and if not you'll probably be able to spot us; I'm fairly short, dark haired and somewhat overweight, and my wife is tall, slim and way out of my league 😁

That’s cool but here’s another clue. The kit I’m bringing skiing tonight and a Hive t-shirt worn!

It was lovely meeting you and your wife this evening @alonicus and hope you enjoyed it even if some of it was mumbo-jumbo, we’ve been bewildering people for years!

Thank you - it was great to see you ! The details of what you guys were doing did baffle me a bit, but that didn't stop me appreciating the combination of huge technical ability and artistry, and the end results were worth listening to 😀

I started writing a post but haven’t had time to finish it yet. I’ll be doing a slot of my own over the autumn months which are always quieter for me, so I’ll have time to put something together.

We’ve a great bunch of people there and I’ve not seen them in ages, so it was great to see some old and new faces.

Thanks for coming along. I’ll do a similar thing again in the future and see how many Hivers we can meet up with.

I think they’d perhaps be mystified by Hive. I think it just clicks for some and not for others.

When the documentary Ben was talking about on the microphone is out on Vimeo, I’ll post a link.

Have a great weekend!
