Ableton adventures #2 - Goring Mill turned into some kind of beat

Listen to my Mill sample turned beat!
Set up a pattern, with a drum rack instrument, just a simple one to get an idea together.

Next using the Granulator III, one of the updated plugins for Ableton Live 12, I dropped my sample of the roaring river into it and this is then mapped to MIDI notes in it's associated clip. So in other words different parts of the sample are played. This is a tricky one for white noise because there isn't that much variance in the sound unless you listen very carefully to pick out the little nuances!!

I'll demo a different kind of loop in another post where the sample is long, with distinctive differences.
