In the temple of Athena, a beautiful priestess named Medusa lived a quiet life. She was famous for her stunning golden hair. One night, the sea god Poseidon saw her and became obsessed.

Medusa tried to hide inside the holy temple, praying to Athena for help. But the goddess did not answer. Poseidon broke into the sanctuary and attacked her while the other priestesses watched in fear.

Athena’s golden statue saw everything but stayed silent. Instead of protecting her follower, the gods left Medusa alone and broken in the ruins of the temple, her golden life changed forever.
