Feliz vísperas navideñas amigos de Hive y bella familia #openmic, estoy encantado de estar presenta en esta semana #298. Previos a cerré el año en la semana #299 y comenzar un nuevo año con la semana #300. 🔥

Si ojean un poco mis post antiguos notarán que cambio de escenario repetidas veces, es que estaba grabando con una laptop para poder mirar escuchar la música mientras tocaba, pero sin embargo ya no tengo acceso a ella... Por ende debo aprovechar lo que tengo.

Cómo decía mi madre, se cobija hasta donde alcance la sábana, entonces ahora escucho la música con el televisor de mi cuarto. Meta para el próximo año, hacerme de una nueva laptop o una tablet. 🔥

El compositor original de la melodía de "Carol of the Bells" es el ucraniano Mykola Leontovych, quien arregló la canción folclórica ucraniana "Shchedryk" en 1916, transformándola de una melodía de Año Nuevo a un villancico navideño, y la letra en inglés fue escrita por el estadounidense Peter Wilhousky en 1936, creando la versión que conocemos hoy.

Esta versión que encontré no es igual a las demás, de hecho creo que sería mejor tocarla con un instrumento de cuerda, ya que no tiene muchos espacios para tomar un respiro. Escogí ésta versión porque sino tendría que repetir la del año pasado, y quise traer algo nuevo.

If you browse through my old posts, you'll notice that I change settings repeatedly. That's because I was recording with a laptop so I could watch and listen to the music while I played, but I no longer have access to it... So I have to make do with what I have.

As my mother used to say, you have to make do with what you have, so now I listen to music on the TV in my room. My goal for next year is to get a new laptop or tablet. 🔥

The original composer of the melody for “Carol of the Bells” is Ukrainian Mykola Leontovych, who arranged the Ukrainian folk song “Shchedryk” in 1916, transforming it from a New Year's melody into a Christmas carol. and the English lyrics were written by American Peter Wilhousky in 1936, creating the version we know today.

This version I found is not the same as the others. In fact, I think it would be better to play it with a string instrument, since there aren't many places to take a breath. I chose this version because otherwise I would have to repeat last year's, and I wanted to bring something new.
