La esperanza es uno de los factores primordiales para prevalecer en bienestar a lo largo de la vida, no es algo que todos tengamos, en mi caso, estar esperanzado es algo que no suelo hacer, de hecho, la desesperanza es algo que me caracteriza, sin embargo, las pocas veces que he logrado asumir el sentimiento de la esperanza me ha resultado algo muy maravilloso.

Creo que el sentimiento en cuestión es una especie de certidumbre que se adquiere en medio de un panorama que va más allá de nuestro manejo, la fe es algo bastante parecido a esto, solo que la esperanza aplica más a hechos visibles a los sentidos comunes de la vida. Tal vez si he sido una persona esperanzada en muchas ocasiones de forma inconsciente, ya que, ante los retos de la vida, he seguido adelante, claro, aunque igual me he deprimido y desesperado un poco.

Ese sentimiento de saber que todo va a resolverse en un futuro nos da perseverancia, esta es una cualidad que va muy de la mano con la esperanza, ya que ambas nos dan la determinación necesaria para prevalecer ante el caos y la oscuridad que nos da el temor inevitable.

La canción que hoy traigo de Jorge Drexler no habla directamente sobre el tema, pero creo que el anhelo y la pasión son una manifestación burda de lo que es la esperanza. Tal vez, en su forma más sencilla y finita, la esperanza no es más que un anhelo por algo que tenemos la convicción de que va a suceder, y eso nos hace vivir y tener la suficiente energía para nutrir nuestro espíritu y entusiasmo.
