Hive Music festival week #93 round #3: Charly García - No toquen (cover) [ENG/ESP]

Que tal! querida comunidad de Music Zone? Espero que te encuentres bastante bien espectador o espectadora. Hoy estamos en este domingo domingo musical, disfrutando de la tranquilidad y esperando que todo salga bien.

Para esta oportunidad he decidido traer una canción de Charly García, una canción de sus primeros discos creo, ya que me di cuenta que Charly tiene muchos álbumes al igual que fito. Esta canción la saqué de su album "Como conseguir chichas" y la verdad me pareció una canción un poco loca, bueno, como la gran parte de las canciones de Charly, tienen temáticas locas. Una canción con mucha energía, la guitarra en este tema es bastante rockera, y tiene una dinámica bien movida.

La canción nos comienza dando declaraciones fuertes, "Están muertos" repitiendo esa frase unas cinco o seis veces. Luego dice "Váyanse de aquí" haciendo referencia, en general, a un rechazo. Yo creo que la canción en si habla de lo agobiante y sofocante que puede llegar a ser el público de un artista en algunos momentos, creo que aquí Charly habla de como no le caen bien las multitudes y su aversión relativa con ellas, cosa que he visto en Charly en algunas ocasiones con alguno que otro paparazzi molesto. Claro, la historia de Charly es más extensa que solo su fama, tal vez se refiere a una edad en la que no le caía bien la gente y no quería que se acercarán a el, quien sabe.

El precio de la fama puede variar, pierdes en parte tú privacidad, o si la quieres conservar debes ser muy cauteloso con tu vida privada. Estás propenso a miles de ojos y tus acciones pueden definir tú ascenso o tú descenso como personaje público. Lo irónico del asunto, es que, a diferencia de algunos artistas, Charly no le importaba en lo absoluto eso de mantener las apariencias, siempre ha hecho y ha sido un demente libre sin importar las opiniones, y eso a la gente no le ha molestado, mas bien es parte de su historia. No todos tienen la fortuna de poder ser excéntricos sin consecuencia.

For this opportunity I have decided to bring a song by Charly García, a song from his first albums I think, since I realized that Charly has many albums just like fito. I took this song from his album "Como conseguir chichas" and the truth is that it seemed to me a little crazy song, well, like most of Charly's songs, they have crazy themes. A song with a lot of energy, the guitar in this song is quite rocking, and it has a very moving dynamic.

The song begins by giving us strong statements, "They are dead" repeating that phrase about five or six times. Then he says "Get out of here" referring, in general, to a rejection. I think the song itself talks about how overwhelming and suffocating an artist's audience can be at times, I think here Charly talks about how he doesn't like crowds and his relative dislike of them, something I have seen Charly do on a few occasions with the occasional annoying paparazzi. Of course, Charly's story is longer than just his fame, maybe he is referring to an age when he didn't like people and didn't want them to get close to him, who knows.

The price of fame can vary, you lose part of your privacy, or if you want to keep it you must be very cautious with your private life. You are prone to thousands of eyes and your actions can define your rise or fall as a public figure. The irony of the matter is that, unlike some artists, Charly did not care at all about keeping up appearances, he has always done and has always been a free freak regardless of opinions, and that has not bothered people, rather it is part of his story. Not everyone is fortunate enough to be eccentric without consequence.
