Hive Music festival week #60 round #3: Malanga - De Caracas a Madrid (cover) [ENG/ESP]

Saludos, querido espectador. Bienvenido o bienvenida a un nuevo post musical, esta vez para la semana 60 ronda tres del Hive Music festival, un lugar fértil para la música y los artistas que siempre traen variedad y colores para esta comunidad, las canciones que todos interpretan aquí son geniales y dejan una satisfacción increíble al oído.

Hay mucha música que se cruza en nuestro camino durante el tránsito en nuestra vida, canciones que escuchamos y que pasan desapercibidas ante nuestra conciencia, pero que en lo mas profundo de nosotros, habitan como un recuerdo inconsciente subyacente en la memoria. Como todos estamos conectados, es inevitable que dicha música no sea recordada, ya sea por un factor externo o porque nosotros mismos empezamos a conectar con ella, en mi caso, mi pareja me recordó esta hermosa canción hace unos, y me preguntó porque no la aprendía, y claro, esta canción también me gustaba! Solo que la había olvidado.

La canción se llama "De Caracas a Madrid" y creo que es un clásico que todos los venezolanos hemos escuchado y disfrutado en algún momento. Yo la escuchaba bastante cuando vivía en la pastora, en la radio siempre la ponían y era bastante gratificante para mí escucharla de vez en cuando en mis momentos de relajación y desconexión.

Sinceramente, no sé de qué trata la canción con exactitud, pero creo que habla de una chica fiestera que no quiere parar de festejar. Obviamente, eso le causa problemas y siempre se pierde y tiene que buscarla. Una persona fiestera es bastante incómoda cuando llega a los excesos. La canción me recordó a mis épocas más fiesteras, cuando tenía entre 16 y 17 años, siempre andaba de parranda y pasada hasta dos días sin dormir,bebiendo seguido. Hubieron buenos momentos en aquel entonces, pero bueno, ya no tengo un círculo social tan amplio como para hacer esas cosas, así que toca relajarse un poco.

There is a lot of music that crosses our path during the transit in our life, songs that we listen to and that go unnoticed before our consciousness, but that deep inside us, dwell as an underlying unconscious memory. As we are all connected, it is inevitable that such music is not remembered, either by an external factor or because we ourselves begin to connect with it, in my case, my partner reminded me of this beautiful song a few years ago, and asked me why I did not learn it, and of course, I also liked this song! I had just forgotten it.

The song is called "De Caracas a Madrid" and I think it is a classic that all Venezuelans have heard and enjoyed at some point. I used to listen to it a lot when I lived in La Pastora, the radio always played it and it was quite rewarding for me to listen to it from time to time in my moments of relaxation and disconnection.

Honestly, I don't know what the song is about exactly, but I think it talks about a party girl who doesn't want to stop partying. Obviously, that causes her problems and she always gets lost and has to look for it. A party person is quite uncomfortable when she goes to excess. The song reminded me of my partying days, when I was between 16 and 17 years old, always partying and spending up to two days without sleeping, drinking a lot. There were good times back then, but well, I don't have such a wide social circle to do those things anymore, so it's time to relax a little bit.
