Update

Hello,

This girl you see here has not been to the hairdresser. She decided to leave her hair long for a while... or is it that she doesn't have enough time to go to the hairdresser 🤔. Well, this is a minor detail, and not to dwell too much on it.

The point is that that was me the day before yesterday (Monday) waiting for an almendrón (cab) to get home, because finally the technician of the workshop Mi Habana en Bici was going to tune up my bike.

We had made an appointment for Saturday, but it couldn't be. They decided not to work that day because of bad weather. And so... that's why I say that sometimes it's better not to make plans. Things go at their own pace, they happen when they have to happen and that's it.

You will say: well, where is she coming from, what interprovincial trip is she coming from with those two backpacks, one in front and the other in the back? Ah, that's one issue. She had gone to get food and some toiletries that were sold to us at my work. Gotta keep the pantry stocked in case the zombie attack takes place 😅. And sometimes I live so disconnected from everything that I was oblivious to the bad weather. If that's the case, the zombie attack better not catch me off guard. I found out about the bad weather in the WhatsApp group that some of us cuhivers have, already when he was leaving, I don't really know what happened. Then I read that @yanerkidiaz was talking with two mugs, while the issue was unraveling, and that he participated in the Radio Guamá program, sending his tenths, I guess to cheer up the listeners who were so worried about the weather situation.

That's not so bad. To tell the truth, I am no longer stressed by the nonsense I used to listen to on TV, for example. Today I am more selective with what I devote my attention to.

Finally the bike was ready. He greased it, he checked the rudder and gears, which were out of adjustment, the lowering of the rudder without a drop of grease, the brakes, the ball boxes were also ungreased, and well... I have to learn a lot from my new friend. She has new components for me. It's been a lot of years since I had a bike, and these have evolved.

These days what worries me is my time management. This really always worries me, because I entertain myself a lot, and I usually postpone some things that I don't really like to do; that... that's called procrastinating. What a little word this is for god's sake! I have work at the end of the year, I want to visit my parents, my grandmother and my aunts before entering into this work commitment and also take time to organize a little my daily scraps. Not that there are many, but whoever has a house knows that in houses it never ends.

So this is an update. A rare publication as far as I'm concerned, but ah, come on, I'm enjoying it. There is no need to get overwhelmed, it's just taking the steps we have to take every day and be thankful for this life we have. Look at that little sun that illuminated me. It is a touch of the divine, a touch of magic. It turns out that the cab appeared at once. And in a flash I arrived home. The backpacks weighed a lot and squeezed me 😅 from both sides.

Talking with the technician, I discovered the existence of a group of enthusiastic cyclists here in Havana. I joined immediately. They call themselves Mumen Rider CSL. They plan bike tours to many places, there will be one soon and I don't want to miss it.

CSL is cyclists without a license 🤣.

While I'm writing I'm listening to music, it helps my concentration when I'm a bit disoriented haha, other times I prefer absolute silence, and if it's the early morning, all the better. Esta muchacha que ustedes ven aquí, no ha ido a la peluquería. Decidió dejarse el pelo largo un tiempo... o es que no le alcanza el tiempo para ir a la peluquería 🤔. Bueno, esto es un detalle menor, y no hay que detenerse demasiado en ello.

La cuestión es que esa era yo anteayer (lunes) esperando un almendrón (taxi) para llegar a casa, porque finalmente el técnico del taller Mi Habana en Bici iba a ponerme a punto la bicicleta.

Habíamos pactado la cita para el sábado, pero no pudo ser. Ellos decidieron no trabajar ese día por mal tiempo. Y así... por eso digo que a veces es mejor no hacer planes. Las cosas van a su ritmo, suceden cuando tienen que suceder y punto.

Ustedes dirán: bueno, ¿y de dónde viene ella, de qué viaje interprovincial está llegando con esas dos mochilas, una delante y la otra detrás? Ah, eso es un tema. Había ido a buscar comida y algunas cosas de aseo que nos vendieron en mi trabajo. Hay que tener la despensa llena por si se efectuara el ataque zombie 😅. Y es que a veces vivo tan desconectada de todo que estaba ajena de lo del mal tiempo. Si esto es así, mejor que el ataque zombie no me pille desprevenida. De lo del mal tiempo me enteré en el grupo de WhatsApp que tenemos algunos cuhivers, ya cuando se estaba marchando, en realidad no sé qué fue lo que pasó. Luego leí que @yanerkidiaz estaba hablando con dos jarras, en lo que la cuestión esa se desenvolvía, y que participó en el programa de Radio Guamá, enviando sus décimas, supongo que para alegrar un poco a los oyentes que estaban tan preocupados por la situación climatológica.

No es tan malo eso. La verdad, ya no me estresan los sinsentidos que solía escuchar en la TV, por ejemplo. Hoy soy más selectiva con lo que dedico mi atención.

Finalmente la bici estuvo lista. La engrasó, le revisó el timón y los cambios, que estaban desajustados, el bajante ese del timón sin una gota de grasa, los frenos, las cajas de bola también estaban sin engrasar, y bueno... tengo que aprender mucho de mi nueva amiga. Tiene componentes nuevos para mí. Es que hace un bolón de años que no tenía yo una bicicleta, y éstas han evolucionado.

Por estos días lo que me preocupa es la gestión de mi tiempo. Esto verdaderamente siempre me preocupa, porque me entretengo mucho, y suelo postergar algunas cosas que no me gusta mucho hacer; eso... eso se llama procrastinar. ¡Qué palabrita esta por tu vida! Y es que tengo trabajo en fin de año, quiero visitar a mis padres, mi abuela y mis tías antes de entrar en este compromiso laboral y también dedicar tiempo a organizar un poco mis regueros cotidianos. No es que sean muchos, pero el que tiene casa sabe que en las casas nunca se acaba.

Entonces esto es un update. Una publicación rara en lo que a mí respecta, pero ¡ah!, vamos que lo estoy disfrutando. No hay que agobiarse, es dar los pasos que hay que dar a diario y agradecer por esta vida que es la que tenemos. Miren ese solecito que me iluminaba. Es un toque de lo divino, un toque de magia. Resulta que el taxi apareció de un tirón. Y en un plis plas llegué a casa. Las mochilas pesaban un montón y me apretaban 😅 de ambos lados.

Conversando con el técnico supe de la existencia de un grupo de ciclistas entusiastas aquí en La Habana. Me uní de inmediato. Se hacen llamar Mumen Rider CSL. Planifican excursiones en bicicleta a muchos lugares, pronto habrá una y no me la quiero perder.

CSL es ciclistas sin licencia 🤣.

Mientras escribo estoy escuchando música, ayuda a mi concentración cuando estoy un poco desorientada ¡ja!, otras veces prefiero el silencio absoluto, y si es el de la madrugada, mejor. ¿Quieren ver lo que salió en mi lista de reproducción cuando escribí la palabra zombie? Da igual si no quieren, yo se los voy a compartir igual. 😂

Al que voy a tener que traer a la vida para que vaya a dormir es a este que tengo aquí. Digo yo que estoy desconectada... ¿habrá alguien más feliz y desconectado de los problemas y situaciones cotidianas que Yin? Yo creo que no.
