Say it in my ear

Last night something strange happened to me. I was trying to fall asleep, but I couldn't get to sleep, and I decided to accompany myself, by something that I keep in my Spotify playlists, some of those Solfeggio frequencies that, I know, are also questioned... I don't know for sure where this came from, that it comes from the Gregorian Chants of the Medieval Period. There are those who say so, based on facts from the history of music. There are also those who cling to the idea that it was in Greece. And me... I'm not going to lie to you, I crammed a bit, no, quite a lot, reading and calculating with Pythagorean formulas. Numbers are not really my thing, but maybe they are, because I like trading and there are many things that are calculated there. Wow, how complex we are. Anyway... madre del amor hermoso, what are we going to do? I'm not a musician and there is so much unverified information that sometimes I don't give a damn as long as the thing in question makes me feel good. So let's get down to business. These frequencies have often helped me to sleep, many times they have helped me to improve my concentration, and every day I listen to them to meditate or do my affirmations. So... hahahaha... you're feeling a bit crazy, aren't you, that last night I couldn't sleep and I looked up these Solfeggio frequencies on my Spotify! As simple as that. But in the end I don't know what happened to the initial idea of regeneration and seeking calm and I landed on a podcast about... (I'd better not mention it) but it was something about personal growth.

I don't know if it was the woman's melodious voice, or that it was in some sense a kind of meditation... I became drowsy. But I kept hearing her in the back of my mind, and it felt so good... until her voice blended with another, more sensual woman's voice, or so I felt, and she spoke in a language I didn't know at first, until I began to understand. My mind filled with echoes and I saw dunes and deserts and breezes that blew translucent but many-coloured scarves on their clotheslines. And I saw the eyes of a very white-skinned girl... beautiful eyes.... She stood out there because the women walking on the dunes, in line, carrying amphorae and wearing jewellery were black-eyed and dark-skinned. I woke up.

... and I understood.

You need a translator. 😉

My proposal for this #ttt is flamenco, but mixed by two interesting women who as a duo adopted the name and brand of MËSTIZA.

These are music sessions in which Belah & Pitty Bernad, both music producers and DJs, are ‘pinchando’ our emotions. They were working separately for more than 10 years and very successfully on their own, until they decided to unite and, as they themselves have stated to the press on several occasions, they built a bond that creates power.

Fusing electronic music with flamenco brings a freshness to this genre and takes it to those party places (clubs), where people usually look outwards, to what is fashionable. People sometimes seem to forget their roots. MËSTIZA wants to reverse that look, towards the origins and identity of Spain, which has so much to boast about!

OK, girls, I agree. Flamenco is something that opens my veins... and warms my heart. It hypnotises me.

🤣 Sorry. I had to talk to them a bit as they have recently moved into my house... they use my bluetooth device to talk to me through my speakers.

So let's see that they are also En un lugar de La Mancha, but I'd like to dance with you from minute 18. 😇

YouTube

What do you say? Shall we dance? There is something from there that I like a lot and I don't really know what it is. Maybe you can tell me in my ear...

YouTube

If you have liked what you have heard so far, I invite you to search the Official YouTube Channel for other sessions. I've brought you this one as an example that I think has a bit of everything. Copla, dance, guitar, and very good sharing.

YouTube

They have already released their first album ‘Quëreles’ at the end of 2023. Some people have already taken to uploading the album to YouTube, I doubt with the girls' consent.
I keep sharing things I like from their official website. You can dig more later.
In this one, for example, the description of the video explains this ‘dance romance’ very well.

I will only bring this fragment from there:

By dancing we break down barriers. Love, in its purest form, is expressed in dance: a refuge where emotions are laid bare and transformed into movement. Every whisper is a touch, every glance a challenge. Desire becomes rhythm and jealousy becomes a tension that electrifies the air. It is a struggle and a surrender, a game between control and surrender.

By the way, about La Mari de Chambao, this is a motivational story you might need to know.

Lágrimas, in collaboration with the Cuban duo PAUZA and with Argentina (Flamenco singer) on vocals.

Chirrín chirrán, se acabó la actividad 🤣.

Thank you @ablaze for this initiative, and greetings from Havana.

If I upload something I don't know if you'll like it... I feel like uploading some punk or new wave.

See you tomorrow...

Well, you know I don't like flamenco hahaha but the techno rhythm in the background is good!!!! It seems to be mixing with other rhythms and quite a lot. That one you mention to listen to from minute 18 onwards, not bad musical arrangement at all. But I'm telling you that .... nothing you know hahahaha

Good night!🤗

Ole!!!
The copla and flamenco were my mother's hymn, and I must confess that it is a very brave music that drags you inland without contemplation if you fall into the musical chord of her passions...but I had not heard this fusion, am I listening well?
It's not too late for my first time, right?

Well, if you like that fusion, give it a listen hahaha... it surely brings you joy. We're never late, because even when we think something is over, it's just starting but different.
